Try with all your might not to mind it. Everyone else's fart, it's just yours was not in the right time and place but you know when you appear like you didn't care about it, they wouldn't care too. Just go on with your daily routine and just look on it at a bright side, you have a story to tell to your grandchildren when it comes. I'm sure it will be a sure hit.:p

Well it happened to me a few days ago, but I was in the middle of a lift (standing an elderly client up) so the other carer I was with thought it was the client, and the client was deaf and didn't hear it anyway, so I was in the clear!!
To be honest I'd act like it hadn't happened, unless it was obvious that everyone had heard it and knew it was me, in which case I'd kind of laugh and crack a joke.
I don't think you need to worry about it, you excused yourself and they didn't make a big deal about it. Now if you'd eaten sprouts the night before and let a toxic one out, well then I'd panic!!

You do realise that you are sitting here worrying about this and by tomorrow no one but yourself will remember it!!! But truly thats funny!!!!
But yeah, if it slips out relitively quiet then get on with your day, but if its a big obvious ground shaker then just laugh even harder and then shake the persons hand that made you laugh in the first place, telling him that it takes a true comedian to make you fart!!!

You are fine. excuse me is all that you really can say. Now just laugh it off. Everyone makes those same embarssing mistakes. It will be forgotten about soon. Just be thankful you are not in grade school. That would never go away then.

Etiquette is long gone in this situation, you apologize and your workmate told you not to worry, so don't. It shows you enjoyed the joke. Act like nothing happened, as this is exactly that: no big deal.

Excuse me is very proper and acceptible. I'd just laugh some more, knowing myself blush bright red and also just say "oops, excuse me!" ; )

Not to worry . The body has to pass gas 20 times a day. Sometimes they are silencers and killers but the deadliest ones are the ones that have your own brand name on them.FARTS ARE FUNNY,AND NO REASON TO BE EMBARRASSED . yOU'RE HUMAN AND SO WERE THE OTHER FARTERS AT WORK.
