Make sure u are smiling the whole day, even if things dont go Perfectly! u will have the photographer following u around, and u want good memories! dont drink more than a couple of glasses of wine or champagne. Make sure u make it a point to visit all of the tables at least once, so u dont feel like u missed any of the guests, cause u could feel bad about this later. have a great time and remember the true meaning of the day: it is a celebration of your love, and the start of your new life as part of a married couple. congrats!

The one thing that I would have to say is have a personal attendant. Have that person be the go to person for any vendor that has any questions. have it be a person that you trust and respect their decisions. Mine was absolutely awesome. I didn't know that there was a problem at the Hotel with the air until 3 days later because she was on top of things and she was able to deal with it instead of me having to worry about. Also I am sure everybody will tell you this but the day will ZOOM by! we went to the ceremony site before people were suppose to be setting up and My husband and I looked at our cake and relaxed for a few minutes then we met back up with the wedding party and went and took pictures. Remember this day will only happen once so enjoy it!

You jhave to make sure you and your hubby get some alone time during the day, just the 2 of you, take a walk around the grounds or something, so you can both take time out to see each other. Sounds strange but you could go the whole day without speaking to each other! Have a fun day

Congrats!!!
The best thing you could do ( if within your budget) is to have a wedding/event planner. Organization is a key factor.She/he will make sure every last detail is covered and checked.I wish I had hired one.If it is not with in your budget I would purchase a 3 ring binder, package of dividers (12),lined paper, index cards and a plastic recipe box.
The binder will become your "Planner"- to set up you need a section for:
1-Church/Music-contract (if any)
2-Guest List/ Responces and Seating Chart
3-Bride-all info. on your dress, shoes,hair, jewlery,perfume,make-up etc.-contract
4-Bridesmaides- girls dress sizes, dress choice & same info as bride.-contract
5-Florist-church/reception/bride/entire bridal party/mother of bride&groom, isle runner-contract
6-Reception-location,payments,menu-contract
7-Favors - contract
8-Entertainment-song list, do not play list,-contract
9-Limo Service- type, pick up time, name of driver, addtional info- champagne iced etc- contract
10-Photographer-contract
11-Honeymoon-hotel & plane reservations-car service if needed
12-Cake- if not included in reception pakage
The recipe box is a condenced version of you book- keep in the car, office etc. Make sure the info. is updated to coinside with your book.of course you can not keep contracts in box- so this is for referance use only.
Be sure to include phone numbers where vendors can be reached after hours in case of emergency.Keep all contract with you at all times- including the day of your wedding-Ask a friend to be in charge of your book. Just in case there are any questions- he/she will have the info. with them and you can relax and enjoy the day.
As someone posted prior to me"don't sweat the small stuff" .
Enjoy your day...the begining of your new begining :)

Do personalized vows. I think it really means a lot to the both of you. We actually wrote our vows together and printed them in our programs so that way they would know what we said in case they couldn't hear us. We are getting married next Saturday. Another thing we did, we got the congregation invovled by them saying that they would support us in our marriage.

Don't rush anything. Slow down and enjoy yourself. Don't get drunk nothing is more tacky than a drunk bride. You want to remember the day. You've spend a lot of time planning and money making it special don't ruin it by passing out and embarrassing yourself.
