I tackle the small problems first, less to worry about, and break up the bigger tasks up into smaller tasks and tackle those. It feels like your getting somewhere and eventually, you will.

Things-to-do lists. Write down all the things you have to do, then split each of those into smaller tasks. Get a calendar and write down which tasks you are going to do each day. The satisfaction from crossing off the completed tasks at the end of each day reassures you that you WILL cope with everything. If you haven't completed the task, then you will be spurred on to get it done because you will see exactly how much time you have to do everything in. I would never have completed my degree without this method!
Also, remove high sugar / high caffeine foods/drinks from your diet as these inhibit concentration. Drink lots of water and eat healthily. If you are feeling too tired to concentrate, spend five minutes doing some light cardiovascular exercise, or dance to your favourite song - this get's you pumped up; remember, regular breaks and rewards are SO important.
You must get plenty of sleep to function well, and this can be really hard when stressed. Take a bath before going to bed; the natural cooling of your body after a warm bath simulates the temperature changes that sleeping has on the body, so it can trick you into relaxing! Drink some camomile tea or a mily drink like hot chocolate, and spray your bedroom with a linen spray, preferably something like lavendar. Also, try a herbal remedy before going to bed; you can get all sorts of pills at health food stores, but don't take them in the morning as you need to be alert.
Do not turn to alcohol; I enjoy a drink normally, but it does not help in these situations; it just numbs the mind and tires the body.
Try to have an endpoint in sight for everything; a big reward like a holiday - you need something to look forward to.
The best thing you can do is find self-confidence. You must believe that you are capable, you must embrace the challenge; look at life's pressures as an opportunity to prove to the world how amazing you are! Success despite adversity is mush more fulfilling than success easily acheived.

you're saying you do not panic, congratulations! I on the different hand do. Panic is a caution signal bypass in each and every which ability finished difficulty. in basic terms if it freezes you and also you'll't proceed on, there is the problem. i imagine each and everyone does.If it does take position pay interest and look deeper into what your going into, there should be something to panic about, or its no longer something. get mutually for the "panic attack" is getting married (that is noted as chilly ft). starting up a sparkling pastime. If it takes position on an usual foundation, thats a topic and they could want help. playstation no man or woman likes to be pushed right into a difficulty.

cry. then wipe your eyes and turn up the best music you've ever heard in your life up really loud and forget about it for an hour. then turn down the music, make yourself a cup of hot chocolate or coffee or whatever does it for you, then sit down and figure out where the pressure's coming from. if you can't eliminate the person causing the pressure (i don't mean hire a hit-man, i mean get away from the pressure) then work out a plan of action ro deal with it...what you're going to do for yourself if you can handle it...set little goals like "if i handle this week, i'll take myself out to get a manicure" or you know, something you would like. after that i don't know what. goodluck

The only thing you " have to do " is breath. Everything else is optional. Think about it. If everything goes to hell in a handbasket guess what; the sun will still come up tommorow. Alot of the crap that we think is so important is really trivial in the whole scheme of things. I've said this for years, most of the mess that people put themselves through they do it to themselv'es.

You have to try and put things in perspective. Write down all the things that are stressing you out and then write down what is the worst thing that can happen. Most probs arent that bad its how we deal with them. Ie- If your worried about an exam, the worst thing that can happen is you fail- you can re-sit it , it isnt the end of the world. If you have severe debts and you get a ccj big deal- nothing else will happen. Try and distance yourself as things are never as bad as they seem!! Chill and listen to music or spend time talking with a friend. xxxx

Music - soothing, listen to or play
Walks- relaxes your mind
Dogs - listen intently to everything you have to say,
they agree with you on everything
YOU! - Do something for you such as a hobby
Don't look back, look forward.
Don't look at what you've done, look at what you can do.
Don't anticipate something that you cannot change or do. Concentrate on what you are doing in the moment.

find someone to offload it all to.
you could try a friend, relative or even go to the doctor who can refer you to a CPN who will just come round and chat.
If you have young children there is an organisation called homestart who are a group of people just for that sort of thing.

Take a breather, pause whatever it is that you are doing. Stretch out. Loosen up your muscles. If it's mental pressure, remove yourself from whatever that is that's pressuring you.
