Hey,
There are many factors that can attribute to hair recession or massive hair fall and you need to find out which one exactly is responsible for the problem you are having now. Of course male pattern baldness is still the most common cause, but, for instance, if you are a woman things are deinitely different! This is the reason why you will need to really dig down and see the source of your problem.
Other causes of hair loss may include (both in men and women): severe mental or emotional stress, excessive use of coloring or bleaching agents, traction alopecia or excessive strain on the scalp due to braiding or corn rowing, hormonal changes, alopecia areata or hair loss due to autoimmune diseases, and many more. Each of these conditions will require a different approach in order to achieve success regardless of whether you're going to be using conventional or natural methods.
In my opinion it's much better to use natural methods as opposed to conventional ones, they're cheaper, have less to no side effects, and often more effective.
A good way of regaining your full head of healthy natural hair is well described on this guide: http://hairagain.toptips.org
Hope it helps.

i am afraid to say, hairloss is heradity so there is not really alot you can do, to try and help dont spend loads of money on expensive products they will just rip you off and dont work, use normal conditioner and using firm small round movements massage in slowly, this may re conect any hair folicles that have collapsed and this is what causes hair loss, if they have fallen away a while ago nothing will re connect them but you will be able to prevent more and maybe connect some that have just collapsed, but look at your dad, grandad hair and thats whats in store for you in am afraid, i teach hairdressing so please listen and dont waste your money on products

Nothing will work so save yourself any effort or expense in that direction.
Women routinely wear extensions wigs etc. and no-one bothers and I think that in todays world a man can get away with the same.
The secret is to not try to pretend its natural, as all artifice is easily spotted especially the transplants, (spotted all over your hair line) but to liberate yourself and wear numerous different wigs to reflect your mood or situation and have your hair cut really short as the default setting.

Shave your head and the world will think you've got that sexy tough guy thing going on!!!!
Or you could go the Jeremy Piven, Tim McGraw route... one day you have a receding hairline and the next you have a full head of hair. Strange but I guess it works just fine.

Old world remedy was to climb into a field and let a cow lick the bald spot and the hair would grow back. But make sure you know the difference between cows and bulls.

i dont think u can do much that will actually really work! :(
guys stress over getting bald, and really, as long as u are still taking care of yourself, and still have good hygiene and dress well and have a good personality, girls dont care if u are going bald! I promise! just don't ever do the dreaded comb-over. once it is really going, so seriously, shave it off, or at least close. this can be a really sexy, clean look. so dont worry so much! my fiance is currently freaking out about the same thing, he just turned 25, but it is nothing to stress about. good luck to u!!

Old wives tale: rub in goose manure!
Personally I recommend the all or nothing approach, shave your head, a lot of women find it really sexy.

Minoxidil known as Regain can help. It's a lotion which you spray on but it is quite expensive. You would be better to stop worrying about it and shave it off. So many men have shaved heads now and I think it makes them look gorgeous! x
