You could link to the CNN.com site that she listed and see it yourself. I went to full mother bear protect mode and tried to see what was scaring her, and in the process downloaded a virus from the bogus website that was posted. OK So I feel like an idiot, but I can't work I've been on the fon w/MS for hours, it looks like a popup (but not a popup I don't allow popups and have a firewall 14 ft deep to stop them) but it says my registrys is corrupted (their words not mine) and I will lose everything. So far all I've lost is my patience and a lot of money as I work from home and have been down since Fri. Can anyone here help me? I'm going to use all my precious points to post EVERYWHERE...Thank you in advance!

Unfortunately, I can't help. It sounds like you are doing everything you can to save your current data (you are saving your current data, right?) and get your computer back up and running.

I hope Yahoo! Answers is taking care of this person for posting a bogus website.

Good luck!
