This morning i was lucky to even catch 20 minutes of sleep.. im about to go for my morning walk.. is this bad? Should i get sleep first or does it even matter? How much sleep should i be getting anyways??? Im 20yrs old.....

Between 5 and 8hrs a night, you're doing good! But sometimes, you need more or less sleep!
It depends on how your life has been lately! Maybe you're having an afternoon nap now, that you didn't use to have.
Maybe your walking gets you in shape and changes your internal clock. That's possible as well.

You need at least 7 hours of sleep at your age. Try walking in the afternoons, evenings or even after dinner. If you're someone who can't sleep early in the nights but can sleep in the wee hours of the morning, go ahead and do just that!
I have the same problem....

if your exercising as much as you say you are you should be getting more sleep because your burning energy and not getting it back so you must get atleast 8 hours of sleep a night.

Check your diet first. Are you eating or drinking something before you go to bed? Stay away from caffeine & protiens both will kill a good nights sleep.
