Hougen is 72 years old. He has 240 foreign and domestic patents, and 47 pending. In his words, "You're never too young and never too old to invent". He cites his first invention as an electric doorbell back around 1930 when he was 14. This was in northern Saskatchewan -- no electricity. He used a car battery. It worked fine -- except that the battery had to be shared with the family car.

Atom Bomb: many people. The leader of the team that actually built the bomb was Robert Oppenheimer. But he was just one of many, and the science that went into it was also done by many. Albert Einstein's equation E=mc^2 was the baseline for unleashing that kind of power (though Einstein himself was very much against the creation and use of the device).
Radio: Nikola Tesla. If anyone answers Marconi, they are wrong. Marconi was a theif.
What the hell is and electric bell? I am pretty sure that Edison and JP Morgan invented the electric BILL!!

Just what class is this homework for, history or physics class?
What is an "electric bell", like your doorbell?
And, the atom bomb was simply the culmination of work done by Fermi, Einstein, Oppenheimer and a few others.
