Start both egg timers

After 3 minutes, start cooking the egg. There are 2 minutes left on the 5 minute timer, so turn it over after the 2 minutes and at the end of the nex 5 minutes the egg is cooked

Grandma would start 5 minute timer and 3 minute timer together but would not place any eggs into any timer and when the 3 minute timer as stopped she will put the eggs in 5 minute timer and which is left with just 2 minutes and when the timer is over she can time the 5 minute timer again for and the eggs will boil only for 7 minutes 2 + 5 = 7 minutes
Happy boiling to Grandma for her eggs

Start both egg timers. Flip the 3 min timer after 3 minutes. After 5 minutes flip the 3 min timer again (which has been running for 2 mins) flipping it gives another 2 mins and that will give 7 mins total and very hard boiled eggs :-).

Start with the 3 minute timer.. When its half way emptied. Start the 5 minute timer. When that runs out, count to 30! lol

start both egg timers
when the three minute egg timer is up flip them both
when the five minute egg timer is up start timing cause there is one minute left in the three minute timer so you have to flip the three minute egg timer 2 more times to make seven minutes.

I make my eggs this way every morning.
