Everything is better in Malaysia. I am not saying that Malaysia is good, but compared to the Philippines, it is better, despite its many shortfalls..... On a scale of 1[bad] to 10 [excellent] just give 1 or 2 points more than the Philippines for everything.

I've never been to the Philippines but I've been to malaysia and fell in love with the place. The Philippines may be great as well, but politically much less stable and therefore potentially not as safe

If anything goes for you then Philippines, but if you are looking to know more about cultures and people then i strongly suggest Malaysia for it never had to overthrow a government before. Malaysia is Safe, sophisticated and you will be spoiled for choices in Malaysia. Truly Asia.

Philippines is nice except for the typhoon season starting anytime. Malaysia tend to be a safer option.
Choice is yours. To me, both are the same, except hospitality-wise, Philippines wins.

Malaysia because of the better economy, stable jobs and civilized people unlike those rotten filipinass.. phuilppines people are rude and disgraceful, even to me as a filipin american i cant get no respect from filipinots because they are always saying bad things about me being animist and not believing in god, why should i believe in god when spain forces a religion amongst the people and take advantage of that? it was better when our islands were not colonised by spain otherwise we'd be richer than malaysia and our indonesian ancestors too. but filipinots dont want to accept that nonsense they dont want change, they want more disaster. if they are nice to you, it is only because they see your filled with money and have power, other than that they treat you like **** and tell everyone else theirs a rich guy in the neighborhood and he gave me 100$ usd. so whoever said filipinos are hospitable, they are putting acts in front of you and you gotta accept that they are the worse backstabbers in the whole southeast asia
