I'd feel horribly incomplete if I were the second choice. Second choice means there's a person above you who is given priority. . Second means someone is more adored, more loved, more thought of.. Sadly, that person isn't you. When you're second, you're the person to spend the time with..to alleviate boredom and loneliness while the first person is away. That is a situation I wouldn't want to be in. Hope you'll always come first for the person you love. Don't settle for anything less than that. Wish you the best!

Its a state of mind. Just because you are second, does not mean that your are permanently stuck there. If something isn't right, then change it. Being second at least tells you, your almost on top. Its all in how you perceive it. Generally, second place keeps you motivated, pressures are not as near as intense, and when that moment comes and you are number 1,... you really feel good about your accomplishment. Keep in mind, "its not always about the destination, its about the journey".

I~m married but i dont think of my girlfriend as second choice.
She is ANOTHER choice, a different option when i want it. She is better at certain things and in certain respects than my wife, theres nothing second class about her at all.

The second choice in what? In playing soccer OK. In competition It really sucks. In dating it really hurts but you do get over-it.

i dont know second, but ive been third, and fourth once, its hell, it feels like **** to be thought of as somthing so low that they consider you no more than a pet, like a dog
