Yes it just might. Continuous driving may damage the tendon which can take a long long time to heal (tennis or golfers elbow)

One would say almost definitely, for the time taken up practising and playing golf surly must take time away from the time practising and playing the piano, violin.....

I've wacthed Greg Norman interview who said he had been hitting 200 balls everyday for 25 years. Had to have a surgery. Other than that I think it's OK.
