When an atheist swears on a Bible before they testify in court do they have to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth since they don't believe in God?

No more swearing on bibles where I live (in the U.S.) They just have to promise to tell the truth.

They dont swear on a bible, cause it means nothing to them, and people are going to lie if they want to religious or not

yes they do have to tell the truth, and nothing but the truth and the whole truth. If they don't they will be perjuring themselves and if they get caught they could do jail time.

well if they don't believe in god then its not a sin but its the court of law and the bible is there so people are reminded that if they lie they are sinning
