Isaiah 30:25

And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter when the towers fall.

Could this be 9:11, the twin towers ?

Yes, this is all just the beginning.

See if you look at the world today you will notice chain reactions happening all over the world that started on that day. Example: the worlds distrust of the US.

Yes, a lot of things lead up to it, but it was the calmination of everything prior.

But don't worry just yet. WWII started off a little skirmish it was a couple years before it became a blown out war. The time you should worry is when another superpower enters this little skirmish or when it truelly becomes a religious war.

Yes, I know it seems that this is a religious war, but it's really just a political war right now. If you noticed even on this forum it's becoming more religious every day. It still a man(Bin Lauden) using religion to do something political. Eventually this will turn into a religious war or another World War; either way it will be the war to end all wars.

Perhaps, but I think a better passage would be Zepheniah 1:14 when "even the fighting men shall cry bitterly". Think how many firefighters and crime fighters cried that day.

15 That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness,

Think of the clouds of dust that made it like night for all those who were in the area when the towers collapsed.

16 Yom haShofar V'Truah (A day of the trumpet and alarm) against the fortified cities, and against the high towers.

.Rosh Hashannah is called Yom Truah on which the Shofar is blown was exactly 1 week after 9-11.

17 And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung.

Walking like blind men because of the dust cloud. The latter part of the verse is an apt description of those inside the collapsed towers.

18 Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the Day of the LORD’S wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.

The WTC had vaults of silver and gold. That didn't help them. The Wrath is still coming. Muslim terrorists have already managed to bring dirty bombs across the border, they are just waiting for the right time to set them off. We each must repent while we can.

Well, I don't know about you, but I didn't notice rivers and streams of water on every high mountain and every high hill on 9/11. So what would make you think this is talking about 9/11?

well its interesting but basically it is saying its going to rain or have many waters on all the hills and mountains (flood?) so i wonder if it would be since the day that the towers fell (9-11) the other part of the equation the waters on hills and mountains did not happen.

No, if you read the entire chapter of Isaiah, you will see that it is about the rebelliousness of the people of Israel. Start specifically with verse 12 and you will see what I mean....

I can see where you may think that, but we must study it further....sometimes taking one scripture out of context with the rest may not be the correct procedure.

No! The towers refer to God's protection of His people. It is explained in the 48th chapter of Psalms. The U.S., England, France, Australia, and others are all tribes of Israel. There are twelve tribes in all. Judah, the present tiny nation of Israel is one. This prophecy in Isaiah refers to Him soon taking away His protection over us.

i don't think 9:11 is so important that it would be mentioned in bible! do you think every dead cat is foretold in bible

there are tons of worse disasters all around the world all the time but they don't seem to be so important cause those people are poor, black... anything, just not americans

just because one bad thing happens in america doesn't mean the bible is coming true, there is a possiblity, but stuff like this happens in other countries all the time and the us doesn't see fit to report it.

its an interesting observation..
but if you read the whole of chapter 30...
contextually speaking.. it is not about 911...
reasons are, its talking about giving rain...
and its about God forgiving the sins of Israel and blessing them, healing their wounds..
