To have an eternal, personal, loving relationship with God. As Solomon concluded of our duties:

Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

As C.S. Lewis said, "We are all eternal spirits in a world that tries to hide our true identities from us." My point is, God created us with an eternal perspective. This life is a testing ground to determine which of 2 eternal realities we will inhabit.

The meaning of this life is to find eternal life with God and to spend the rest of eternity growing in our relationship with Him.

the purpose of your or anybody's life is to reproduce and populate this world. there would be an end to this world and our job is to keep it flowing till the end. this is my view of life without any religious interference. My religion has more to offer then this but overall, I think this is what ever human can do the least. make a change for the good of humanity is optional but recommended.
