You can't be gay and christian, the bible speaks against homosexuality and states that it is a sin. I'm not judging gay people, their orientation is none of my business and I'm leaving the judging to God.

I believe the majority of our population are lost and misguided souls. Homosexuality is immoral and an abomination to our Lord Jesus Christ. None of us are supposed to judge others, though we still do. Some of us do it openly while others only confide their opinions with someone they trust. We live in a society that is accepting and encouraging of so many sins. The truth is often hard to find if you're not looking for it or don't know where to find it. I believe we are living in the end days. The news we read and watch on tv validates the warning signs given to us in Revelations. All we can do as Christians and believers in Christ is pray for them and let his light be seen through our example. When judgement day comes, each and every one of us will bow before our Lord and proclaim that he is the one and only Lord and Saviour. If homosexuals as well as all sinners do not repent of their sins, accept God into their hearts and lives and change the way they live according to his will, they will be lost for all eternity in a firey lake.

The Bible also speaks against lying, pride, not loving others, lusting after another person even if only in your thoughts, selfishness, covetousness, and on and on...

Proverbs 6:16 -

There are six things the LORD hates—no, seven things he detests:
17 haughty eyes,
a lying tongue,
hands that kill the innocent,
18 a heart that plots evil,
feet that race to do wrong,
19 a false witness who pours out lies,
a person who sows discord among brothers.

So... if you've ever lied in your whole life, if you've ever gossiped about someone, if you've ever plotted to do something wrong, if you've ever looked at someone as not being as good as you... well, then, you need to reread this verse and ask yourself how YOU can be a Christian. Btw... a gay Christian IS your brother or sister, so I suggest you reread that last part in particular. And, when you have no sin, then you get to throw the first stone.

After all, your religion teaches that you should follow the Bible, does it not? If that's what you believe, then perhaps you should pay more attention to all of it rather than just the parts that conform to your own personal agenda. Then again, when I did that, I saw that though God detests hands that kill the innocent, He Himself orders Israelites to kill babies.

There is no such thing as a big sin or a little sin...sin is sin. Being judgmental is a sin, gluttony is a sin, being dirty, filthy is a sin, stealing, lying, murdering, adultery...all sins and none less a sin than homosexuality. Just as those who committ these sins consider themselves Christians, so may homosexuals. There are many homosexuals that dont have sex much like heterosexuals may abstain.

I realize the Bible has a lot to say about gays but there is a lot to be said about people who harm children, dont honor their parents, etc. . . So if you steal a pen from work, God will treat thas sin the same as the murderer and the homosexual...in His eyes, it is all the same. Peace.

I think you may be judging people. Why even worry about gay people calling themselves Christians? Everyone has a right to call themselves whatever they want. Hey, no one is hear to judge; or at least we aren't supposed to be. Jesus didn't judge! God doesn't judge. The bible was written by men and mistakes were done when they were writing it/translatting it!!..

Be kind to your neighbour, be not the judge. Be a good example of a Christian, and others will follow in your footsteps; and if they don't, so what. You go your way....

Homosexuality is a sin...the sin is fornication which is sex outside of marriage. This said do you think someone who has had sex outside of marriage could call themselves a Christian? A Christian is someone who has been forgiven for there sins and tries to follow the teachings of Christ. Now Christians are taught that they are no longer under the law but that the law is written on there hearts...If you study Romans 6 you can understand that we cannot continue in sin in other words as a lifestyle but God makes the changes in people and he is the only one to judge. If a Christian does sin it is not acounted as sin but the Christian has to avoid falling back into the sin lifestyle none of us are perfect that is why Christ died but we as Christains should life our lives as if the sin nature is dead..but truly this nature dies with us we are saved by faith but he who endures until the end is truly saved. I cannot say who is save and who is not and therefore would have trouble saying someone is or isnot a Christian however a Christian should not live a lifestyle of sin. Only God can make changes in a man we cannot change ourselves so by faith I believe that God will make the change in me.

You are such the hypocrite. Why ask the question to begin with if it didn't concern you? Yes it is none of your business. People like you need to get on with your sorry miserable lives. Doesn't the bible say to leave the judging to God? I find when you speak out against a minority, it's just because, the person doing the speaking is so unhappy with their own lives that they just have to stir the s--t pile. Just learn to walk on by, and you'll be a happy and healthier person.

You are absolutely correct! You can’t live a homosexual lifestyle and be a Christian at the same time. I once saw this stripper on a talk show on television. She said that she was a Christian. Same situation. You can’t live your life opposed to the Bible and be a Christian at the same time.

Why do some of these people call themselves Christian? The same reason that most religious people do: They want to believe in a supreme being, they just don’t want to obey the Supreme Being! They want to do things their way instead of God’s way. Since God is against homosexuality, then homosexuals, who want to be religious, take away from God’s word to make their lifestyle acceptable, at least in their own minds. Likewise, you have some religious people who don’t like the idea of a hell. Therefore, they, just like the homosexuals, take away from the Bible that which offends them.

God created gay people and made them gay. Jesus taught tolerance. You are an intolerant bigot, Im glad you are leaving the judging to God because you will be harshly judged for spreading hate in the name of God. Do you like warm climates? Because Ive got a feeling you may be some place warm very soon.

Well, then, leave the judging to God.

The bible also says it's a sin to make clothing from two different pieces of cloth. So clothiers can't be Christians?

The bible says it's a sin to masturbate. So the majority of the population can't be Christians?

You ARE judging people based on a book that's been written and rewritten over centuries, and by men. The "doctrines" of God are written in our hearts, with no errors- and what does your heart tell you about love? It is never wrong to love someone, I would put my life on the line for that belief, and I'm not gay. If "Christianity" means you "can't love someone who's of the same sex", than Christianity does not come from God. God IS "love", and "love" is "unity" of all people of all kinds. Your narrowminded viewpoint and failure to look any deeper into your faith and spirituality is troubling. I feel sorry for you, and for the people whom you hurt with your anti-spiritual ideas. Why don't you find something better to do with your time, something that calls for humanitarianism, and not hate. Something that unites people, not divides.

We are all sinners and fall short of the glory of God. Homosexuality is an abomination and a sin and if a person is a Christian they should abstain from activities that go against God and one of the major ones is judging. Remember judge not less thou be judged?
