depends on the cat. Most black cats I've seen have mainly black whiskers. However, I have seen a few white ones thrown in there, as well.

We've always had either a black cat or a cat that is almost all black and every one of these cats has had black whiskers.

Unless the cat is completely black, it probably has white whiskers. If it is completely black, then the whiskers are probably going to be black, too.

I have an all-black cat here, and her whiskers are black, as are the pads of her feet.
My sweet little calico has all white whiskers.
My tabby and tiger have whiskers that are black at the base, and white about halfway-out to the tip.
My friend's cat is gray, cream and orange all mixed, and her whiskers are gray. :-))

My black cat has white whiskers.. So did every other cat I owned. My dog has black whiskers.

I have 2 black cats....Lucky has black whiskers, but MacBeth..who has some brown hair UNDER her black hair has some black whiskers & some white....she is a weird kitty anyway...lol....
