I saw that one to. The verse was taken out of context. Jesus was talking to the Pharisees, and telling them that since they had not studied his word, the were unable to recognize that he himself was the fulfillment of Gods prior word. They thought they knew, but did not.
Yes, I know I am, so I guess I will be seeing you there. Oh, entire verse to follow.
36)I have testimony weightier than that of John. For the very work that the Father has given me to finish, and which I am doing, testifies that the Father has sent me. 37)And the Father who sent me has himself testified concerning me. You have never heard his voice nor seen his form, 38)nor does his word dwell in you, for you do not believe the one he sent. 39)You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me, 40)yet you refuse to come to me to have life.

It must be a wonderful comfort to know the unknowable. To always have a smart answer to any question. But how do so many voices claim to speak for God and say differnt things? And in the end what difference does it make what you believe, what will be will be. Many of you who think you have God's ear will be disappointed assuming there is any awareness after death.

Scripture tells us to be asssured of our knowledge and that we have that assurance, so I don't think I'm going to heaven at all, I know I am! II Timothy 1:12 For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed and persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. But the greater lesson to be learned is 2:14 "...avoid petty controversy over words, wich does not good but upsets and undrmines the faith of the hearers."

Those you believe, know. Those who don't believe, don't know. But they are still going.
Those who think maybe they are if they do good enough or have enough faith live in torture there whole lives for no reason.
Jesus saved the world 2000 years ago, just like the prophets said He would. Anything less would not make him much of a savior would it?

People delude themselves with the statement "A kind and forgiving God won't send me to hell". Correction, he's a JUST God and he can send you to hell. Yes, we're all sinners, but the idea that people can lead an extremely immoral lifestyle without learning from their mistakes, without any hint of remorse or repentance and still wear those golden shoes is a false, dangerous and arrogant premise.

There is no way to know you are going to heaven until you are there. You think you know but you may find out otherwise. This is the same as people say they know their partner loves them only to find out they have been cheating on them.

Its a good thing that you believe that you are going to heaven. I as well believe that I am going to heaven. If I doubted that I was then probably would not be accpeted into heaven. But I trust God with all my heart. If anybody believes they are going to heaven and accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Also, believes that he died and lives then you have your opportunity to heaven.

Repentance, desire and robust deeds. God knows your heart and that i pray that He guides you. Please comprehend that the judgment day is coming and also you nevertheless have time to practice. God did not create you for no reason. you've a decision to bypass to hell or heaven. you're in charge for your moves. you're not to any extent further a sinner by ability of layout and Jesus did not die for sins of others. this isn't straightforward and God does no longer harm all people for sins of others. Please use your head and choose properly, opt for now earlier some time is up. do no longer anticipate Jesus, as he's not coming back, a minimum of no longer in accordance to Quraan and hassle-loose sense (even with the actuality that maximum Muslims and all christians have self belief he's coming back). study Quraan, comprehend the information. 10:36 yet maximum of them keep on with no longer something yet fancy: quite fancy should be of no avail adversarial to actuality. Verily Allah is properly conscious of all that they do. fifty 3:28 yet they haven't any understanding therein. They keep on with no longer something yet conjecture; and conjecture avails no longer something adversarial to actuality. 40 seven:14 Is then man or woman who's on a sparkling (direction) from his Lord, no more suitable desirable than one to whom the evil of his habit seems beautiful, and consisting of keep on with their personal lusts?

I'm often concerned that there will be some that 'know' that will find out the answer is 'no!'.
Mat 7:22 Many will say to Me in that day, "Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?'
Mat 7:23 And then I will declare to them, "I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'
