It bugs me too. I wish more people would open their hearts and homes to these children who need families.

I agree with Gela, I was a single mother, (I have since found a man who is vey wonderful), Those people who stand outside the clinics all day long must not have chidren, because if they do, why are they out in the street and not at home with their kids? And if by chance they do have kids, they have them right there, rain or shine, snow or 90 degree heat. Now who would put their child through that? I can understand having your personal opinion, but who gives them the right to "force" others to believe something they don't? I think that "freedom" of speech has gone too far. It just means you can voice your opinion. And have your own personal beliefs. But it dosen't state that you have the right to "force" others to believe the same! Or to tell others their beliefs or chioces are "wrong". Different maybe, but not wrong. I think nobody, and I mean nobody has the right to have control over someone elses body. And like Gela stated, Men have a choice. We don't, well if we don't want to be called a "murderer". They walk away everyday and evade the child support system. My daughters father is over 4 thousand dollars behind in child suppport, and shes only 3! Do you think I will ever see that money? No. And all they do to try to make fathers care is put them in jail. Pointless, since sitting in jail still isn't putting food in their kids mouth, or clothes on their back. How bout giving them a job!! Thats an idea! Okay sorry this is so long. Basically I feel that if your "sooo" against abortion, the they should make YOU adopt these babies.

its very controversial the idea is people just can not keep their nose out of others businesses.i was seeing this documentary about the abortion pill in holland and the great controversy it caused among people who could not accept abortion...99 percent of the people against it were males..yup .but where are these males when the girl gets pregnant they run away ..they do not want the responsibility.. they get the choice to decide whether they want the responsibility or not..so why shouldn't women have the right to decide too. so many people complain but what do they do when they see a mother with no father for their kids...they ignore their need for help... they categorize them as iresponsible and so many other things. yet you see these people who point out the finger against abortion...i would choose life too.. but i accept and know so many things these women and unwanted children go through...

the right to life people don't seem to get it... that most adopting families are white, not hispanic. there are many african american adopters too, but the vast majority are white... white people want pink perfect, healthy babies.... right to lifers don't account for the crack babies, sick, disabled, brain damaged, or otherwise imperfect babies... they seem to think that every unwanted baby gets adopted when most of them in fact, don't. for this and many other reasons, i detest the right to life movement. life is a privelidge given by god. the key word there is privelidge.each day of life is a new opportunity to screw up or do right. but that choice remains a personal thing and it ticks me off that they seem to think that
#1 they have all the answers when their ideas are purely theological and at best half baked.
#2 they think that they have the right to take away another persins rights in the name of an unformed glob of cells.
I agree with the recent cut off restrictions though....
as a woman people ought to know by the time they're three months along whether or not they want to keep it. by the fourth month, it does look more like murder....
those who've been pregnant might understand this better.... the baby starts to move and flutter around. it lets you know it's there... nobody should be allowed to abort after that point. to feel life inside your body and then kill it is too psychologically damaging in the long run and to allow it is just plain irresponsibility on the government's behalf

I think, because it's easy to say, but hard to do. It's people who just need something to talk about. I respect woman's right to do whatever she thinks is right for her. I do not judge and do not "hate" those woman. They have reasons.
As for people, who scream - no abortions.. They simply ask for smart contraception methods use. Maybe that's the reason? Like - be smart, and do not get pregnant, so there will be no unwanted kids and abortions.

Wow, that is such a sweeping statement. I do not agree with abortion and I consider adopting all the time. So "never" is kinda strong. Unwanted children do not go away, they go to foster homes like my friends' in Minneapolis. I see all the time the effect of peoples decisions on society. I see babies, beautiful non-white babies who are on waiting lists because they are not allowed to be adopted by white families. My friend is white and all her kids were adopted and she gets looks all the time because non of her kids are white. I met one baby in particular a beautiful african american girl-dark dark skin and eyes. I loved her and prayed for her. Her mom terminated parental rights, I cried. Someday when we are at the point when we are not forever pregnant I hope to adopt or at least foster little kids. It is in our future plans...so please don't lump me in with the people you know that bug you.

Judgemental and uninvolved. The only words I can use. They judge the act of abortion, but don't want to get involved with the product of unplanned pregnancy. It's the mom's issue and fault. Goes back to false religious beliefs that one can be without sin.

Sometimes people become fanatical about their opinions and nearly blinded by what they would presume to be their freedom to be outspoken...
...even when their "right" to make these declarations robs others of their right to chose, their right to live, their right to decide, or their right to speak their own mind.
I have to say you made a direct hit with your use of the word "ignorant". It's pretty ignorant to allow ones voice make choices for another.

Because they want to have something to flap their mouths about. they want to criticize without knowing details, push their beliefs on others and at the end of the day, they think what they do is "God's work", when sometimes it is pure harrassment!

people should stop having sex if they don't want their kids now this is what bugs me. if you can't deal with having a baby from you having sex without condoms and birth control then you shouldn't even be having sex.
i think people should have to lay in the bed in which they made. i myself would not want someone else's kid even if i couldn't concieve.
i do not support adoption....there would be no adoption if lazy people would start using birth control or getting fixed (sterile) or just keep their pants on and the skirts down then they wouldn't be no adoptions or abortions.
for me i support abortion for the sole reasons of being raped, birth defects of the baby and if your own life was in danger.
ALOT OF GIRLS/WOMEN ARE LIKE WHO CARES IF I GET PREGNANT I CAN ALWAYS GIVE IT AWAY SO NOW HOW STUPID IS THAT?
go to the doctor
get on birth control
use condoms (male and female condoms)
use spermicide
don't have sex
or get sterlized
it is that simple don't ya think?
