I want to get a kitten and persian kittens appealed to me the most because of its unique beautiful looks and real good personalities...i just don't know if i should get one. the other kittens i have seen are too cute but as it grows up, it wouldnt be as cute. im not mean. i dont get kittens by looks. but i feel persian kittens have both...looks and personality. is it a good idea? or is there something in persian kittens that i should be concerned about?

Only get one if you have the time to properly care for it. They need a lot of grooming, their eyes cleaned, and sometimes a summer haircut. If you decide to get one, please look around at your local shelter and for Persian rescues. Sometimes you can even find a purebred! That way you save a life, and you aren't supporting breeders. You wouldn't be anywhere near California, would you? I have tons of kittens waiting to be adopted! And occasionally I get Persians!

If you're leaning towards a persian, get a cross breed that looks like a persian (persian x tabby). You'll find the cat will live longer and have less defects. Persians are known for kidney failure and bone problems. Also the white ones get pink eye.
Cross breeds are the best because they don't tend to have the health problems that purebreds have.

Depends...i have a smoke persian..and when it is just a liltle kitten...it is soooooo cute! then..when it grow...it became...like that like that...but if u ask me..i will say go for it!! It is a good idea and persian cats are really awesome...you should buy one! Just saying my opinion :D

You would probably learn any kitten's personality as it grew up, but Persians do have their own special personalities.

I have a long haired gray cat and I imagine she has a little persian in her too. I think you should get one. They are very beautiful animals but they do require maintenance with brushing and combing.

If you have enough money to care for it properly. Get all vaccines ( usually 3 distemper and 1 rabies the first year), get it spayed/neutered and keep it inside the house. Sure.

If you get a kitten you have to take good care of it and love it and promise to always be kind to it. Then it will be a good companion to you and you will go to heaven...
