Dan Brown offered no proof to his assertion. Matthew, John, and Luke suffered persecution and death because of what they wrote. Whom do you believe?

Gospel writers are the first class or eyewitnesses to what they wrote. It is accepted in a court of law.Dan Brown coming after nearly 2000 years later and sayiing that the gospels are wrong is stupid. Like Chicagoan said there are a whole bunch of stupid people in the world to accept any thing.Dan Brown wanted to make money, he did along with a bunch of others too, way too much money which proves that there are many people who will fall for this kind of stuff.

To be honest Dan Brown has more proof than the authors of the Gospels. However, this does not mean what he says is absolutely right. The theory that Jesus had kids has as much proof as the one he did not. There are many contradictions in the Gospels which simply shows they are not telling the whole truth. Beside it still remains as a question why out of more than 60 available Gospels only 4 were recognised by the church. The significant factor is that 2 of the Authors were not even amongst the Jesus decipels (companions) while 2 other gospels which have been written by 2 of Jesus companions have been rejected by the catholic church!!!

The Word of God warns us of false teachers who "secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them" (2 Peter 2:21, NIV) — and stresses the importance of "speaking the truth in love" (Ephesians 4:15).

The Bible. Good point about what the Gospel writers went through for their beliefs.
