Muslum insuregents kill our troops but if a civilian gets killed, the US powers threaten to punish the Fine men & women that put their lives on the line!! If they were savages like the Nazis were, I could understand but that's not the case!

IT'S BECAUSE WE ALLOW THE LIBERAL BIASED MEDIA TO REPORT THE WAR AND I DO NOT BELIEVE HALF OF WHAT I HEAR FROM THEM. OUR MARINES HAVE COME UNDER FIRE FROM OUR OWN ELECTED LEADERS LIKE MURTHA AND IT'S A DISGRACE AND A SHAME. THE AMERICAN MILITARY JUST NEEDS TO BE ABLE TO DO WHAT IS NEEDED. WE ARE NOT THUGS, WE ARE SOLDIERS AND MARINES FIGHTING AND RISKING OUR LIVES SOMETIMES TO AN UNGRATEFUL GROUP OF PEOPLE WHO SEEM TO WANT US TO LOSE. IT IS DISGUSTING.

You don't get it because you don't think. You just gut-react.
Let's take your question line by line:
'Muslim insurgents kill our troops' - what else do you expect them to do, give them a big kiss? They're insurgents to you and resistance fighters to the Islamic World. The Nazis didn't like the French Resistance much, but the Allies called them 'freedom-fighters'. Remember, America is the invader here.
'If a civilian gets killed, the US powers threaten to punish the fine men and women etc' - It looks to most of us that the US powers are covering up, just like they did with My Lai and Abu Ghraib. In time the truth comes out and they have to backtrack. Before you call them FINE men and women, be sure they are. Most are of course, but its the ones that ain't that do the bad stuff. If there was an atrocity, then these were not FINE men, and they deserve their punishment - America should expect nothing less.
'If they were savages like the Nazis' - Prove they're any different before you make such comments. The track record of American troops suggests they're just as capable of some sick acts (and America blatantly operates concentration camps and the forced expatriation of citizens)!
Before you come over all rightous and indignant, make sure you can truly claim that America has the disciplined and well-led forces to boast about. The rest of the World begs leave to doubt it. It sees an ultraviolent and aggressive invading army - very similar in its tactics to the blitzgrieg of the German forces in World War II. We from the rest of the World are aghast at the shocktroop tactics of your forces. Persuasion and winning friends in the community would have yielded America's objective a long time ago.
Your biased and ill-considered comments do America no favours and you're not helping the good guys in your armed forces in Iraq.
My point: Don't let patriotism and introspection blind you to the reality.

I just love it. Some Marines kick in a door and murder innocent civilians who are praying at the time, and these flag waving, God fearing republicans blame it on the media!!! That's the republican's credo, since you can't defend your own actions, try to blame someone else! I'm surprised they're not blaming Ted Kennedy or John Kerry!
