is it really cruel if you tell your dog you're gonna take him out for a walk and he goes crazy, but you don't actually do it?

Absolutely...It will teach him that you can't be trusted, and will cause many personality problems, not having anyone he can trust.

Just think about your parent promissing you that you are going to a favorite movie, or concert, and then saying "sorry, just kidding', after you were already dressed and ready to go.

love should be constant.its forms might change according to the needs.
if u get some other job in hand and cant take the dog 4 the walk make the animal feel ur love and then get on with ur job.that wont be cruel in any way.

Yes, it is cruel. Believe it or not, you dog can and will understand words that you say over and over. Most breeds of dogs love to go for walks and to tell him you are going to do it will only make him depressed and not trust you.

Mean maybe, I wouldn't say cruel. But dogs are pretty smart and if you do that too many times you're likely to find a surprise in your shoe later.

what!!! ... that's the meanest thing I've ever heard... you should be be striped naked.. and be forced to crawl through the burning pits of hell for that.... hahaha .. why are you worried about this... i don't know what the memory of dogs are.. but he's probably already forgot that you were going to take him out... take him out twice tomorrow to make up for it
