yes. women do it too men. We just are all frilly and feminine, and wouldn't dare let you men know about it..lol.
Okay, seriously, probably not as often as men do, but In my embarassing teenage years I do recall having farting and burping contests with my best friend and sister..lol

It's called flatulence and everyone does it, guys and gals. We don't have competitions or anything (I don't think) and we find it disgusting.
My roommate does that all the time and never apologizes or excuses himself, acts like it's any old thing.
I am moving away and never living with another guy again - at least not for a couple of years.

I've actually never had a girlfriends who have farted around eachother, burping yes - but farting no.

It depends on the mix of women there is always one women who is a stick in the mudd however once she leaves we let the flatulence fly and laugh our heads off.

Hell yes! My wife is always busting' ***. Smells like something crawled up inside and died. The bigger problem is that hers are "SBD's" (Silent But Deadly), you don't know they're there until you get a snortfull. By then its too late.
Her friends are the same way...
