Easiest way:
1. First, cut off the top and the bottom.
2. Set it on a cutting board standing upright, and slice it into quarters lengthwise to create long wedges.
3. Remove the core portion from down the center of each wedge, that is too tough to be edible.
4. Slice the good sweet pineapple free of the skin. Then you can either remove it and chop it into chunks, or slice it but leave it sitting in the skin for a pretty presentation on a fruit platter. You can save the top for decoration on a fruit platter too.
An alternative for parties if you are really ambitious is to leave the top and bottom on and carve the body into a fruit basket. Basically, you carve two wedges out of the top half, but leave a narrow strip of skin running over the top to become a handle. Then you can carefully cut out the insides without piercing the skin, chop the pineapple meat into chunks and mix with fresh strawberries, blueberries, kiwi or other fruit, mix the fruit in a little ginger honey dressing, fill the pineapple basket back up with your fruit salad, and garnish with some beautiful hawaiian orchids. Your friends will be impressed!

Well take your sharpest knife and cut as follows:
(1) hold the top part and cut off the bottom.
(2) hold the top portion and cut the pineapple into halves.
(3) hold each half and cut it lenghtwise to make quarters.
(4) chop off the top half.
(5) peel the skin off the other portions and now you are ready to either cut individual chunks or pick each quarter up and eat until your fingers get sticky.
(6) The easiest way is to cut from the bottom in a circular motion and peel the skin away if you're in a rush.

First cut the "tree" kind of thing on the top. Then cut downwards with a knife. Cut the skin off first. Then make pieces and cut the brown bits from it until its all yellow and then eat it! I like pineapples!

Cut off the two ends (top and bottom). Stand it on the now flat base, and cut it into quarters lengthwise. Then slice out the core by just slicing it from top to bottom.
