the da vinci code is a book written by dan brown which states that jesus had an affair with mary mackeline and had a child . this was later suspected in the picture of the last supper where you can see a lady towards the left of jesus looking very sad.so if this is proved then there may be a heir to jesus and his blood may be stilll running in today's generation . so to find that a fictional charactor robert langdon and sophie the granddaughter of leonardo da vinci have set out on a trail to find the grandson of jesus and prove the above happenings. this trail begins with the murder of the curator of a museum in britan in such circumstances which are extremly same to leonardo da vinci's painting of the man. to know the whole story you should read the book . the same has been done in the movie too !!!!!!

It was a great work of fiction and the symbols in the movie made it really good. Like a modern day Indiana Jones and National Treasures. the movie is about a Secret society that looses it's upper eschelon and the last one dying leaves coded information on how to find documents and the bones of Mary Magdelene. These documents are supposed to prove Mary Magdelene is Married to Jesus and has desendants. The book never says wether the papers are there or not it just shows where the final hiding place is.

The da vinci code is about a famous painter named Leonardo Da Vinci,who is known for his arts like The Mona Lisa,The Last Supper,etc.The story is about a Louvre curator named Jacques Sauniere,who is killed by a albino monk who is from the Opus Dei Organization.The curator is killed because he belongs to a secret society named the Priory of Sion,which guards such a powerful truth that is known to no one except the Grand Master and the three senechaux,means his partners.
Meanwhile,a Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon is brought to the Louvre muesuem and is guided by the captian of the Central Directorate Judicial Police,Bezu Fache who suspects that Robert Langdon has murdered the curator.By the way,the curator leaves clues but in weird signs and symbols.In comes Miss Sophie Neveu,who turns out to be a cryptologist and the grand daughter of the curator who was killed!She has left her grand father about 20 years ago but the night's event brings out a very pleasant and memorable past.She warns the symbologist about Fache's plans to put him behind bars.They escape from the Louvre and try to find what the late curator wanted to say.They come across Andre Vernet,the president of the Depository Bank of Zurich and Robert Langdon's old friend, Sir Leigh Teabing,a man who is in search of the Holy Grail,the powerful truth.He helps them escape Paris and they fly to London where the Holy Grail lies beneath.They find number of clues and find the meaning of the Holy Grail.I won't tell you the clues or else the taste of the mystery goes sour.
