It is illegal, unprofessional, and unethical to do it in every state. Now to come in contact with various parts of the anatomy incidentally, like while securing and subduing a resisting body--no. As for touching certain obviously sensitive areas, it is common practice to leave that to female officers or do so in the presence of witnesses. There are times when it might be appropriate, emergency moments or in fast-moving violent moments when weapons or evidence might be concealed--but those are usually rare circumstances that won't wait for the female officer or medical practitioner to examine and possibly retreive evidentiary items. Part of the problem is that some women know that, which is what makes "cavity searches" necessary. If the police officer is 'touching a female sexually', however, then the officer isn't behaving as an officer--unless we are talking about the officer's spouse while off hours or on break.

It is pretty much illegal everywhere to solicit sex, by solicit sex, I mean offering it not as part of relationship, but for money. And, it is also illegal to engage in sex that was solicited. So, both the officer and the escort are both guilty or a crime. And any state's legislative webiste should guide you to the approriate statute regarding those types of crimes.

Are you talking about a body search or talking about an officer having sex on the job? If an officer has sex on the job, he/she is violating the law and should be discharged or sentenced for that. If an officer is just merely doing a body search for drugs, weapons, etc, then I would think it's legal.

If the officer has sex with the escort without her consent, then it would be considered rape.

If a male officer inappropriately touches a female anywhere in the U.S. it's against policy and most likely in violation of that state's law. It can definitely be in violation of federal law. If an officer has sex with a prostitute, regardless of whether he's trying to make a prostitution case against her, it's a crime. Both state sexual crime, also a state official oppression crime by a peace ooficer, and federal crime of civil rights violations at very least.

if an officer is arresting someone and they resist... i dont think he is forbidden to make the arrest if his hands..touch in a private area during scuffle. also if there are two or more officers and one suspect in any crime... whose word do u think the judge will take. and who is to say a cop gave a call girl money for sex.? there are a lot of factors in this question. this is in any state. you have to have strong evidence...that this really occurred. i have seen prostitutes in court that looked like a train hit them.. all was said is that she was resisting arrest and the matter stopped there.

Anyone who touches someone inappropriately is guilty of sexual harassment. However, if you are talking about a body search of a possible suspect, then no. But that is dependent upon the kind of search (over clothes vs. more extensive search) and also what exactly the suspected crime is....

yes it is illegal..in anywhere in the u.s. but the police officer isn't suppose to have sex with the escort. he has to prove she is a hooker without doing that.
