Christians will find a way to justify anything they want to do. A religion founded on 'forgiveness of sin' promotes amoral behavior.

I see where you are coming from with your statement and to answer you quite honestly yes and no! The reason why I said this is because of two reasons
1. Because in order to know a person you would have to become intimate with that person meaning there would be some sex involved.
2. And far as having children there are a lot of women who have children because they want them I'm not talking about the ones who sit there and have them just to want to have them I mean the ones who really love children and they want to have them and to give them love something that they might not have had when they were children.
I had sex before I was married as a matter of fact I was living with my boyfriend before I was married. But I also knew that yes this does go against what God believes, no of course I didn't put this to mind when I did all of this but when I look at the seven years I took to know this man before I married him and before I had children I say that I made the better choice. I certainly didn't want to have a house full of children I ask God for two children and that is what I got.
In this day and time there are some rules that God wants us to do and it cannot be possible because of the way society works. But the only thing we can do is just live and love people and pray that they love us back for doing just what we do and that is just being happy.
I am happy that I did this If by chance when I am in heaven and God speaks to me on this issue I will tell him this I had to live my life this way I tried to live my life the way I wanted to live it and to my best of my ability to love people along the way. I sinned and I asked for forgiveness but this is what our society is about and it is not out of disrespect to you but that is how it is. And of course I would tell him that I do love him very much and let the chips fall where they may.
One last thing having children and sex is not just for married people anymore if you have paid any attention it is everywhere so what can we do about it? Nothing! Nothing at all except keep living and keep loving people and treat them with kindness the same way you would want to be treated.
Last thing those articles you read ask yourself this "Do they really give you all the information or just stats?
Peace!!

Yes, it is a violation of thee 7th commandment. God said "Thou shalt not commit adultery." Other than adoption, there is no other way to have children than by having sex.
The Mother of Jesus was a special case, she was blessed by God and had a child without having sex. Jesus was the product of her egg and the Spirit of God; there was no sperm involved.
Unfortunately, christians do try to justify sinful behavior; we know that it is wrong, but because we find some pleasure in it, it is OK.
Wrong answer.
Sex, or procreation was God's way of allowing man to play a roll in the creation of this world. He could have personally made all of the people that He wanted. But when we have sex outside of marriage we make ourselves like most animals.
My experience is that sex in marriage is much better that sex outside of marriage. There is no worry of an unwanted pregnancy. There is no worry that my wife will leave me for someone else. There is no worry about transmission of STDs to each other. There is nothing to worry about.
For those of us who have sinned and repented, there is forgiveness, and another command "Go and sin no more."

Mary "The mother of Jesus" had child before marriage.
There is no where in the writings inside the Bible where you can quote "God" saying : "Having sex and children before marriage is a sin".
You may find some personal opinions of some prophets. But Prophets are not God.
Something is a Sin only, and only if "God" called it a sin.

Yes- how dare you mortals give into the sex drives that I gave you. For the love of Me, if I wanted you to have sex I would have made it pleasureful and given you all the right equipment for it. And honestly- if I wanted you to have children (within Global capacity) I would have given males sperms, and I would have made women fertile. Oh, crazy idea, I might have even given women cycles in which there was a time frame they could get pregnant, and not the other 18 or so days of the month. Lets explore that- days one can't get pregnant : days one can get pregnant :: 18 : 5. Yeah- I don't see how that system would be made to accommodate pleasure sex.

Yes, it is a sin. That is supposed to be saved for marriage. Unfortunately, people are not always lead by the right influences. At least God is a merciful God and can forgive any sin.

Yes. And it's serious in a way no other sin is for a Christian. Drinking is not against our body the temple of the Holy Ghost. Drugs are not against our body the temple of the Holy Ghost.
Swearing is not against our body the temple of the Holy Ghost.
Smoking is not against our body the temple of the Holy Ghost.
etc...
But guess what is? (NOTE-fornication is sex outside of marriage, including sex with anyone divorced for a reason other then adultery)
1 Corinthians 6:18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
Also said in the chapter:
1 Corinthians 6:13 Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.
14 And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power.
15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.
16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.
17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

Everything is a sin! Read all 613 laws. Unless you believe Jesus did what He was supposed to do when He came. They prophecied that He would come and save the world. He fulfilled the law, so what law do you think you need to keep now? Jesus wasn't good enough?
