How come the number I enter on a cell changes? When I put for example 4233009940405 the last digit automatically changes to '0' after I exit the cell '...400'. How do I get my '5' back and have it stay?

Use Number formatting for those cells rather than General. The General format will force exponent for anything larger than 1e+11 (or 100,000,000,000). I'm not sure why your number drops the 5 like you describe, but it may just be a formatting issue. After changing your format to Number, you may have to resize your column so that, in case it does show an exponent, it will show the entire number.

Select your entire worksheet. Right click and choose "Format Cells" choose "Number" then make sure "General" is the option chosen.
