When we eat animals that have been fed antibiotics we wind up eating what they eat....After awhile, those antibiotics become so abundant in our body that when we need antibiotics, either it won't be effective or the germ or infection will have been a strong mutation that will cause us to need stronger and stronger antibiotics.
Then we give the animals a stronger dose of antibiotics because the mutant germ will have resistance to the existing antibiotic. And, round and round she goes, where it'll all stop, ....who knows,
One can only make an educated guess as to the final dose. I had a tooth pulled once and the dentist refused to give to me any antibiotics. Instead, he instructed me to gargle with a glass of two-three tablespoons of hot tap water + three or four tablespoons of salt. Heavy concentrate of hot tap water and ordinary store bought salt. It worked.
So, in essence, who knows what other simple remedies there may be to guard against disease and/or infection we are not being informed about just to satisfy the lucrative drug trade at our friendly pharmacist.

I think it is wrong to eat any animal, and no animal should be receiving antibiotics, hormones or any drugs, unless they are ill. If you eat an animal, that has been given a chemical, that chemical will end up in you.

I think it's very bad and affects our bodies. Especially bad for developing children. The antibiotics will be ineffective and we won't be able to use them, either. Both are very very bad. I buy only meat without these things. I believe it causes a lot of problems in people that we don't even realize.

If its passed out of the system before they are killed for meat then I see no reseaon why it should matter unless your talking about animal rights.
But if your going down that road then its make no diffetent as the hay, grass there there most likely to be fed on it most likely to be sprayed with pesticiles etc etc.

I worry that it hasn't been long enough to know what the long term effects might be. But how do we avoid it. I'm not sure how except change our diets. Naturally raised foods. These things can be gotten around for a price. Possibly not as high a price as our lives.

It's bad.
This is done strictly for the commercial value and not for the quality of the product.
