Scientifically
A body which is too warm produces perspiration from its pores in attempt to cool itself. The liquid (perspiration) takes on the combination of scents from the foods and liquids ingested as well as particles and bacteria on your skin and in the atmosphere. If this perspiration or sweat is not washed off of the skin in a reasonable length of time, especially in the areas most prone to overheating again, then the scent is given off and intensified by heat. This odor on the body is then called BO.
