because they are brainwashed into believing something and it seems so convincing to them and once they have read the bible they cant be open to any other suggustions or logical explantions to how the world etc started and they get a temper when u even try to discuss it openly there are so many bad christians and priests out there its not funny if they want some guy they have never met or have proof rule there life and make them be so called good people like they are in prison then they can go for it but if you ask me its all a ploy to get power and dominates but also relief for people that are lost and need help.

You know there is a name I could give you right now for even insulting Christians and calling all of us nutcases! But I have something even better than that, Lets look at you for example you must be a nut case for asking a question like this one! You also must be a nutcase because your mother probably had to put up with your silliness for a long time. And I bet you are even bigger nutcase because you probably don't even have a life either.
So why don't you grow some hair on your balls, and get a life and leave us Christians to our own life and our own belief because even if we are nutcases as you put it at least we all know one thing when God does come back we all know the ones that you call nutcases we know that we will be welcomed to Jesus kingdom that is much more than I can say for you non-believer!

There are a lot of Christians getting killed just for being Christian. It may be rare here in America (although it happened to a teen girl at Columbine) but it happens frequently in other parts of the world.
In America, the attack is verbal through the media and through suppression and ridicule in the schools, workplace, and places like Yahoo Answers where mean people like you continually persecute us with insults.
If you ever became a serious Christian (especially if you became a Catholic Christian) you would know what it's like to be persecuted and then people will call you paranoid to add insult to injury.
There is a guy who was a homosexual atheist who became Catholic and renounced his homosexual lifestyle. He said that he never experienced so much persecution and ridicule until he became Catholic. This is true. He was a guest on a show called, "The Journey Home" on EWTN (the Catholic channel). The website for the show is:
The Coming Home Network

There are non-christians who are paranoid nutcases, too. Just because there is a paranoid nutcase who is a Christian doesn't mean that you can classify everyone in that category. That's like me saying why do all me run around in panty hose. They don't, just some of them.

Paranoia spans beyond the realm of Christians. But they're tend to be alot of Paranoid Christians, indeed. This paranoia doesn't necessarily have to do with religion. Christianity is a major religion in the U.S., therefore it has alot more people in it than many other religions like Buddihism, Native American Spiritualism, Wicca, Shamanism. Simply because more people are directly involved in this religion is the reason. Yes, alot of pastors do seem to teach about Wicca as evil, and the big bad Terroist is coming oh my!, and wearing black is a sin heaven forbid... but these teachings only allow the person to choose to believe what they are taught.
Its like putting ten people in a room, or twenty people in the same size room. Naturally the room with twenty people would have more paranoid people in it, right?

I posted a question about the Governor in the state where I live... He is getting kicked out of office! I got two lame (stupid) answers. Last night I posted a question that was aimed for the bible thumpers! (the one about the "shout out for the lord) I just wanted to see how fast the responses would pour in..... Well I got 16 answers in 4 min. I think one guy even posted a 1/4 of the bible as his response... I thought this would just back up your question! Oh yea, I'm gonna give you the 10 points! (just because you reported me) Where did this huge religious following come from? I must have been passed out at a Greatful Dead show when it all started.

You would be a paranoid nutcase too if you knew the truth, and people kept right on asking the questions like are asked here. We don't want to see a single soul go to hell. believe me you can't put it off any longer. What if you die tonight? You mean you want to go to hell and burn and do satins bidding? I am not trying to judge you my friend, I just want to see you in Heaven.

From what I have been reading it is not the Christians asking all these 666 questions. So now who are you calling paranoid??? How many times have you asked that question? The Christians are ready for the last day, no paranoia with them. And You??

Either the Bible is true or it is the best lie ever told.
If it is a lie, and you believe it, what do you loose? Nothing, in fact you actually gain a more peaceful life, and then you die.
If it is true and you believe, you gain a peaceful life and then an eternal life., but if you don't believe, this life becomes a misery and then you die TWICE! Bummer.
I choose to believe because I have been given enough evidence that there is a God who cares about us; even you.
I didn't obey my parents because I was afraid of being punished, I obeyed because I love them and want to please them. But as everyone else has done, I disobeyed even though I knew that I would be punished. (It is a matter of choice.) For that same reason, I choose to obey God because of love, not because I am afraid.
