I am a semi-insomniac. I sleep but when i cant get to sleep in a few minutes then I am up the whole night. I need a way to get to sleep really really fast. and ideas.

Drink a warm glass of milk and take Tylenol PM. It is non-addictive sleep formula. Plan to sleep 6 to 8 hours...restfull sleep!

I have the same problem. My mind is wondeing all the time and I cant sleep. Ive tried prescription things like ambien but it is dependant so I didnt want to keep taking it. Ive also tried stuff like tylonal pm but if you dont get at least 8 hours youll feel bad all day. The best 2 things I do, which I know arent the best options all the time, are keeping the tv on, the light can be annoying but listening to something is good for occupying your mind, I usually leave on espn news. I also will set my alarm for 6 am every day for a week or so, no matter if I get any sleep of not. I am normally so exhausted by the end of the week I can get on a schedule for a little while at least

Don't over transfer whilst in mattress, you are going to be enegized through that. When mattress time is close, hinder doing heavy hobbies like activity... Some humans without difficulty fell asleep whilst their complete, others do not. AMEN.

Yeah, listen to some soothing music, it is amazing how it helps you to relax.

Does your mind race a lot, probably. If so, you probably need medication to slow it down.

Also don't eat late at night or drink alcohol, they both mess up the sleeping.

You can't go to sleep quickly. Talk to friends on the telephone. Read. Watch television. Surf the net. That will put you to sleep. Put a fan in your room. White noise will put you to sleep.

Listen to a meditation cd. It works every time and its a good quality sleep too. Good luck

Try concentrating on relaxing your muscles when you go to bed. Also before you do that, Take in 3-4 deep breaths, in through your nose and out through your mouth.....

i think u should just stare into the air and let your eyes get tired. this should work. try it. if it does not work, i dont know what way any more.
