Your question is incredibly vague. What kind of bird are you talking about? Based on your question, I could give you the answer, 2-150 years.

Many wild birds, especially the smaller ones, only live 2-3 years. Captive bred finches ,may live as many as 5 or 6. Budgies, or parakeets, may live up to 10-12 years. Cockatiels, as much as 15-20. And your large parrots may live up to 150 with pristine care, but the average is more like around 60.

I had a parakeet that lived 16 years. I heard birds can live a long time. I now have a Quaker parrot and he is about 7 or 8 years old now.

What sort of bird? Parakeets can live to be in ther teens at least, while larger parrots are known to outlive their owners.
