I'm not looking for answers about why not to. I never said I was going to...I just want to know the answer to my question. No opinions, thank you.

Labor is a natural occurrence and should not be induced by anyone other than a trained medical professional. You could cause potential harm to yourself and/or your unborn child by taking any medication while pregnant. I had natural labor once and had to be induced once (by a doctor) and the induced labor was much longer and much more painful. I would just let nature take its course.

Castor oil does NOT WORK to induce labor-- it will speed up labor if you are already IN LABOR, but thats it.

Black cohosh really supposedly does work, and that is FROM a physician (who ALSO SAYS not to take it!).. the problem being that your due date CAN BE UP TO 2 weeks off and you dont want to end up forcing yourself into having a preterm baby!

Im VERY PREGNANT and have thought about taking both!

haha.. at this point, im very uncomftorable.. and this is what the dr. told me (what I typed above).. he also says SEX works.. (Actually he says to have sex then lay on your back for atleast an hour- this can speed up labor if you are already in some stage of it)
which I agree with, because it worked with my last child!

GOOD LUCK!

In this discussion board on option gasoline autos induction so much commonly refers to a procedure of shifting electrical power from one gadget to an additional with out wires, caster oil is an option gasoline, exertions (labour) is aspect of an estimate at the side of fabric and we do not love to suppose of our exertions brought about by means of both electrical power or caster oil as in spite of anti diarrhea (anti-dioreha) capsules the sh!te continues to be more likely to hit the fan. Within the environmental phase you would discover references to caster oil as an option gasoline however so much definitely any person could point out that it comes from some of the lethal crops identified. Caster plant beans are used to make the lethal poison ricin. At this factor the proposal that making use of a few extra "common procedure" could be finest to the cousin of a lethal toxin. There are different boards wherein the efficacy is mentioned. I am struck with the suggestion folks who say, "it labored," fairly don't seem to be providing any "evidence" as matters might have proceeded good with out the support. We will in no way understand. You will discover a few execs and cons within the cite underneath.
