To be honest, we men will create endless numbers of reasons to not show up for a date. But there should only ever be a very small number of true and acceptable reasons. These would be things like: a close family relative is in hospital; he's in a car accident; he's been arrested (in which case unless he's truly innocent, RUN); or some other major emergency or something he TRULY could not get out of no matter what he tried. If I was a girl and a guy gave me most any other excuse, he'd be off my list of guys I'd willingly date. Hell, I still went out with my girlfriend when I was sick. Almost got me killed but I did it anyways.

Let's assume they started dating when they were 16, never married, died at 70 and had planned dates on every Friday and Saturday...they will have had 5616 opportunities to make an excuse for not showing.

Now, take it down to their level of intellect, and they will probably only be able to come up with 3 feasible excuses...the other 5613 will be stupid.

There are a ton of different excuses...just not a ton of valid or honest ones.

Well the number of excuses is endless.

The number of excuses that are acceptable?... minimal. If he didn't show up without telling you, that is rude and careless.

Maybe if he died or got in a car accident. I guess it's kind of reminding me of those drug commercials: "Imagine telling your girlfriend you missed your date because you were getting high."

haha - not that he was definitely getting high, but that he was doing something that he deemed more important than you... without telling you!!! It's a bad sign.

To answer like a real man should, we don't have any excuse. It's inexusable and cowardly! Onl;y emergencies should get in the way of the date that he promised to go on.

Did you ever see the Blues Brothers when Jake met up with his x?
He had a list of excuses a mile long.

But seriously though, it's something that they teach us in highschool.

Things happen everyday but, not everyday. If he works then its ok to have a excuse sometimes. If he's not working then drop the weight.

Too many babe, most of them are lousy ones. Mainly due to not being able to be a man and tell the truth.
