One night I was taken by the Lord Jesus in a deep trance of adoring worship. It was about 1-2 am. While in the place of adoration I heard the voice of Jesus say, " get up and go out to the highway and just wait there ". I lived about 1 block away from a 4 lane highway that went to the beach resort we lived by. I got up and walked out and stood by the hgwy. It was totally deserted and there was no car activity either since we were in the off season. Far down the road I saw a man walking toward me and i knew he was Gods target. As soon as he was by me I immediatly said, " sir, I was praying and Jesus told me to come up here and tell you that He loves you and wants to have a deep relationship with you ". He was totally stunned and immediatly confessed that he was a backslidden believer and wondered if the Lord would take him back. He was so deeply moved that he was immediatly restored to Jesus on the spot and later his wife was also.

In the middle of the night, you left your house and walked to the side of a big highway and waited for a stranger that was walking down the road toward you. Then when he got to you, you told him that someone loves him and wants to have a relationship with him. You did all this in the name of an ancient dead guy that you know nothing about, that may or may not have even existed in the first place. That's not a miracle, it's psychotic. If that's actually true, I suggest you see a psychologist.

Miracle: "an extraordinary event manifesting divine intervention in human affairs" What happened was a result of too many christians that don't understand the inconsistancies of the bible and the faith. The one doing the saving was just walking around wishing he has a purpose in life (which christianity seems to have done a quick fix on him) and the second man was also a person that was not willing to study or observe the evidence in the world (or in the bible).

Now remember, God, the Perfect Being, did all of folowing in what is supposedly His book. He created evil (Lam. 3:38, Jer. 26:3, 36:3, Ezek. 20.:25-26, Judges 9:3, 1 Sam. 16:23, 18:10); He decieved (Jer. 4:10, 15:18, 20:7, 2 Chron. 18:22, Ezek. 14:9, 2 Thess. 2:9-12); He told people to lie(Ex. 3:18, 1 Sam. 16:2); He lied (Gen 2:17, 2 Sam. 7:13); He rewarded liars (Ex. 1:15-20); He ordered men to become drunken (Jer. 25:27); He rewarded the fool and the transgressor (Prov.26:10); He delivered a man, Job, into Satan's hands (Job 2:6); He mingled a perverse spirit (Isa. 19:14); He spread dung on people's faces (Mal. 2:3)); He ordered stealing (Ezek. 39:10, Ex. 3:22); He made false prophecies (Jonah 3:4. Gen. 5:10); He Changed his mind (Jonah 3:10); He caused adultery (2 Sam. 12:11-12); He ordered the taking of a harlot (Hosea 1:2, 3:1-2); He killed (Num. 16:35, 21:6, Deut. 32:39, 1 Sam. 2:26, Psalm 135:10); He ordered killing (Lev. 26:7-8, Num. 25:4-5); He had a temper (Deut. 13:17, Judges 3:8); He was often jealous (Deut. 5:9, 6:15); He wasn't omnipresent (Gen4:16, 11:5, 1 Kings 19:11-12); He wasn't omniscient (Deut. 8:2, 13:3, 2 Chron. 32:31); He often repented (Ex. 32:14, 1 Sam. 15:35); He practiced injustice (Ex. 4:22-23, Joshua 22:20, Rom. 5:12); He played favorites (Deut. 7:6, 14:2, 1 Sam. 12:22); He sanctioned slavery (Ex. 21:20-21, Deut. 15:17); He degraded deformed people (Lev. 21:16-23); He punished a baster for being illegitimate (Deut. 23:2); He punished many for the acts of one (Gen. 3:16, 20:18); He punished children for the sins of their fathers (Ex. 12:29, 20:5, Deut. 5:9); He prevented people from hearing his word (Isa. 6:10, John 12:39-40); He supported human sacrifice (Ex. 22:29-30, Ezek. 20:26); He ordered cannabalism (Lev. 26: 29, Jer. 19:9); He demanded virgins as a part of war plunder(Num. 31:31-36); He ordered gambling (Joshua 14. 2, Num. 26:52, 55-56); He ordered horses to be hamstrung (Joshua 11:6); He sanctioned violation of the enimies women (Deut. 21:10-14); He excused the beating of slaves to death (Ex. 21:20-21); He required a woman to marry her rapist (Deut. 22:28:29); He taught war (Psalm 144:1); He ordered the burning of human feces to cook food (Ezek. 21:3-5); He intentionally issued bad laws (Ezek. 20:25); He excused the sins of prostitutes and adulerers (Hosea 4:14); He excused a murderer and promised his protection (Gen. 4:8-15); He killed a man who refused to impregnate his widowed sister-in-law (Gen. 38:9-10); and He is indecisive (Gen. 18:17).

You ran into crack head bob. You ran into a poor person who has hit bottom. He is at a immensly impressionable state that he was willing to see the way that you see. I'm glad you helped him. But it doesn't mean that god drove you to this point. It is a favorable coincidence. Had that man been struck down by a car, would you have then said that "he works in mysterious ways?" Either way, it is convenient that the god link works here for you.

Recap: Bad Outcome: He has a plan for all of us.
Good Outcome: He willed me to help this man.

This is a story that just can't go untold. Usually, I hear these things through a guy who knows a guy who heard from a guy who saw.....

But THIS is first hand (at least, for me). My best friend Heather, who is a missionary in Siberia with her husband Michael, just called me with this story. Michael was preaching in a town in Russia. About 2000 people were in attendance. Suddenly, some communist followers (rumored to be government, but unconfirmed) came bursting through the door dragging a corpse. They declared they had found the man, dead for at least 4 days, along the side of the road and, mockingly, demanded that he be raised from the dead. Dragging the body to the front of the church, they continued to mock Michael and the pastors there, seeking to humiliate them in front of the town's people. Michael was, understandably, shaken and scared. But God told him to pray.

So he did.

Suddenly, the corpse drew a huge, rasping breath. Within minutes, he was speaking and, though he barely remembered what had happened to him, he pleaded not to be sent back to the scorching hot place where he'd been. He gave his life to Christ right there, followed by 1800 people who rushed to the alter. Michael never preached a single word.

This is such an amazing testament to the power of God and how he's at work through us. Sometimes we don't hear what He's doing, or see it with our own eyes.....but this is first-hand knowledge that miracles are still happening today.

I'm so encouraged by this, and hope you guys are too!

Love you all!!

Angie

I don't accept Jesus as my saviour, but your story is very inspiring. . .and is actually quite common among faiths that involve meditation (deep adoring trance). . .with or without Jesus.

God Bless You~

I think you need to be very careful, that is not the way God works.
Study your Bible, grow in grace, live God from day to day, Serve God in reality not is some mystical way.
