I started seeing this guy recently and he's really into me, it's like too much.. He didn't say it, but the way he talks about it, it's like we're already together. He's a really sensitive guy and really nice, funny wtv, but I don't feel as if this will work out. He told me he was starting to have feelings for me and well I just told him I wanted to get to know him better. As mentionned I don't think this will work out. How do I let him know that it's not meant to be without hurting his feelings... Whatever I say, he's gonna take it personal, what should I tell him? Thanks

I mean you need to tell him how you feel before things get any more serious than they are already are, do you understand? Than you will regret it. You are doing the right thing by telling him that you would like to get to know him a little better. I mean, if he takes it personal than he takes it personal not to be mean, but sometimes people have to understand if you don't want them than you don't want them. They should leave it to that. But I hope that you build up your guts and tell him how you feel before his feelings get any stronger.

Well if your really serious about help start here.

Smart Love it's a book by Dr. Phil that helps you decide if your dating a man or a boy. if it's a boy toss it back into the pond and let him mature abit and start fishing for a man. after all arn;'t you worth it?

Another book I personally hated but might work is ( Men are Jerks) { Until they prove otherwise} sorry not sure who the author is but for girls it might help you. personally I found to much MAN bashing for my taste. and the author really gets into individually wich is not really healthy if your seeking a marriage but as a single woman I guess it works.

God Bless

i also had a really sensitive boyfriend but when i wanted to break up with him i didn't want to cause him any pain...but then i realized that it was impossible...you're going to hurt him no matter what....just do it as nicely as possible(but DON'T talk down to him like you're better than him) and tell him the TRUTH...if you lie to him and he finds out it will hurt him even more...if you want to be just friends tell him that but it's not guarunteed that he will still want to be your friend so let him decide if you're going to remain friends....good luck with everything

yeah he's gonna be really hurt regardless but just try to let him down easy i suppose -- tell him he means alot and you like him so much that you wouldnt want to risk your friendship by getting into anything -- if he has half a brain he'll realize that this may be bull, but its a nice way to put the kabbash on things

You aren't responsible for anyones feelings, but I admire your concern. Trust your instinct and break it off as nicely as you can. If he persists, then be strong in your resolve. Look him in the eye as you tell him. That is a powerful communicative technique.

Just tell him the truth. Tell him your a player and don't want to be in a relationship or just do something to make him not like you.

When couples break up, someone always takes it personally. Just be honest and do it now, before he becomes more attached.

You've already ansered yourself. You are going to hurt his feelings. Better to do it quickly and honestly so you both can move on.

No matter what you say or how you say it to him you will break his heart. Might as well tell him, don't keep playing with him.
