Well first of all if you snack all the time stop doing that. Just have your basic 3 meals a day.

Also exercise. Do something like running, swimming, jumping jacks. Stuff like that burns fat and calories all over your body.

You also want to strengthen your stomache muscles too, your abs. Crunches help with that and there are many differnt exercises similar. I personally don't like crunches cuz they hurt my back. Another thing you can do is lie on your back and lift your feet and legs an inch above the ground and flex your abs use that to hold your legs in the air about 10 or 20 seconds or whatever until you start shaking. Repeat that aboaut 10 times.

Oh and weight doesn't have much to do with your stomache. Unless you starve yourself losing a few pounds won't do much for your stomach. The best way to flatten your stomach is with excercise and eating healthy. And no snacks!

Well, at 56 kg, (about 123 pounds) I would consider you on the thin side. Are you really fat? Pinch the skin on your stomach, near you belly button. Can you grab skin more than 3/4 inch? That is a measure of whether you really have excess fat, or just your body growing normally. Sometimes bodies just grow that way.

You can’t choose where your body gets fat or loses fat, you just have to control your exercise, eating and metabolism. If you have never been active before, your body doesn't have much muscle. That means any excess weight is fat. Even if you're thin, that extra fat can add up to extra flab on the tummy.

Exercise adds muscle, which burns fat all day long. After meeting the exercise goal above, you should notice your waistline shrinking a bit, your jeans a little more loose. If not, you need to check out your eating habits.

Keep a food diary. When you start, don't worry about counting fat or calories, just notice how much and what you are eating. Just seeing it written down can be a surprise - you don't always notice how much you really eat when you eat it, but you sure notice when your stomach sticks out over your jeans. Watching what you eat helps you stay focused and eat healthier.

Exercise ball crunches - This is a good one if you are just starting to exercise. - Step 1 - Sit on the ball and place your hands on the back of your head and walk your legs out lowering your body on to the ball until your upper back and shoulders are all that remain on top of the ball. Legs should be shoulder width apart. - Step 2 - Lift your pelvic to straighten your lower back and tighten your buttocks and contract the abdomen muscles. - Steps 3 - Keeping your elbows pointing out to the side slowly raise the shoulders slightly being careful not to pull the neck. You should feel the crunch in the abdominals; the thighs and buttock muscles will be working too. - Step 4 - Hold the position for a moment then slowly lower the shoulders to the ball and repeat for as many times as you can perform the exercise without straining. Rest for 30 seconds or less between sets. Do 2 or 3 sets of 12 to 15 repetitions every other day.

ONLY do crunches twice a week at most, a lot of people are going to tell you do cruches 100 per day or 100 in the morning and at night everyday. Your only going to be breaking down the muscle not burning fat. To burn fat you need to raise the heartrate, which crunches really don't do. The abdomen is a slow twitch muscle fiber so it heals a lot faster so it can be worked twice a week. Unfortunatly you cannot spot train with your fitness goals of only loosing weight in one spot. Your going to have to adjust your diet to be healthier, roman chair situps 15 reps 3-4 sets, crunches, hip thrusts (laying on your back in a modified bridge and thrusting up into the air), reverse crunches or leg lifts are the best techniques. Then 30-45 min of cardio 3-4 times a week slow jog - running. 100 yard sprints are best for stuborn fat (training for the 6 packs) since it raises your heart rate the best. Or 100 yard sprint, slow jog, then another 100 yard sprint, then slow jog and repeat.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Get started today!

Some people gain weight in certain areas more than others. To lose fat, you must do a combination of cardio and weight training. The more muscle you have, the faster you are able to burn fat. Therefore, loose the overall fat and use the weight training to continue to sculpt.

Most of all. Watch you diet. It's the hardest part.

Esiest, non drastic diet is to eat resonably healthy. Watch excessive unleathy carbs. No cookies, cakes, sodas. No breads after 3pm. If you mess up, mess up early.. you have time to burn it during the rest of your day. This, along with the training will rid you of a lot of fat.

First of all realize that most people just aren't able to get wash board/ six pack abdominal muscles. It takes alot of work to get that far and most people are not that focused. You can tighten and tone with out too much difficulty though!

1) Large Exercise Ball
I have always liked a large excercise ball that you can use to do sit ups. You can use a weight to help increase resistance. A ball also allows you to extend beyond "flat against the floor" and gives you more room to do your sit up. Most will come with a brief description of exercises to do.

2) Pilates
This form of exercise focuses on your core i.e. your middle section. You can join classes, watch on tv, buy a couple books, or even get a daily workout cd.

YOu have to lose weight over the entire body for it to come off at the tummy.
I lost 105 pounds in 6 months. Here is how I did it.
1. Every morning get up and walk for 45 minutes. You can start with less time, but you want to get up to 45 minutes, and it must be fast walk. You want your heart rate to go up. It must be in the morning, it kick starts your metabolism.
2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).
3. Eat half. Just eat half of what you normally eat. Put 1/2 on your plate, and put the rest away. Cook less. When you go to fast food, get salads only. Or grilled chicken. No fries, diet soda. Or water.

It will work, once you get into a routine, you will get hooked on the results, and you will keep the routine. It has been over a year for me.

Sorry, but there is no such thing as spot reducing. Our bodies loose the fat by genetics and gender. Women bodies are mostly large around the butt and thighs (most stubborn place to lose). On men it's the abdomen which is the most dangerous place to store fat because of the heart. I speculate that you are an ectomorph, in which all you can do is cardio, you can do all the crunches you want but the stomach ain't going to get smaller.
