Can you name a false prophet in todays world?

The whole notion of the rapture and the belief that the wicked will get a second chance while the Bible clearly states that when Jesus comes for the righteous, all of the wicked will be dead.
Those who teach that the wicked will be tortured forever in the fires of hell are not telling the truth. The Bible says that they will be burned to ashes.
Let me add another name to the list; Harold Camping. He wrote a book saying that Jesus would return in October 1994. This prophecy did not happen (as we all know.)

The list would be HUGE! But I agree with Mainworry about teachers of the Rapture..., or at least the heart of what "the rapture" is about. Today people use the word "Rapture" as a generic term for when Jesus comes to gather his people in the clouds. The terms Pre-Tribulation Rapture, Mid-Tribulation Rapture and Post Tribulation Rapture. Pre-Tribulation is at the heart of the original Rapture doctrine and is false.
False prophets also include those who preach Gain is Godliness, those who use Jesus as a marketing tool. Also those who teach the Trinity which was never taught in the New Testament church but was dragged in by the Roman Catholic Church after Tertullian in 200 AD formulated it almost 200 years AFTER the New Testament Church's inception.

* .., the list could go on and on
And you also have the variety of False prophets who replace Christ as messiah with themselves like, Muhammad. Such a one is antichrist to the core.

Yeah, those wako's in Waco, Texas 1993. Where that Branch Davidian David Koresh self prclaimed prophet who's members slept in the same house. That guy and his cult got mowed down by thee US of A. ATF and FBI using Tanks and stuff. I guess God had a plan for him and some of his followers. That's God's message for following faulse prophets.
