well im 28 good job single, nice place or my own ,no kids, and for all you immature littles boys, no im not ugly, ive always been able to get any guy i have had my eye on. the things is i always find something wrong with them. and if a guy asks me out without me already liking him i wont go out with him cause i figure if he asked me he must ask everyone. things i find wrong with guys i go out with... no flowers, not opening the door, or opening it and walkingin first, getting in the car before letting me in, answering the cell phone while out with me( constantly ). Am i too picky do i need to lower my standards? or do i have commitment issues and i use this for an excuse? thanks guys

No, it's not okay if you are out here sleeping with anyone. Now, nobody is perfect and we've all made mistakes, but at 28 yrs old, you definitely know right from wrong, and it is wrong to have pre-marital sex, especially in this day and age. Put God first, and the rest will fall into place. Never lower your standards for anyone, or you will find yourself settling for way less than you deserve. If you are dating a guy that you really like, and he fails to open the door for you, or stays on the cell, then communicate this with him, and I guarantee that if he is truly interested in pursuing a good, loving, caring and respectful relationship with you, then he will do a complete 360. Good luck my sis-ta, and keep that lock and chain on your most private possession, until you are on your honeymoon!

Interesting concept. You sound as if you have no commitment issue, just that you know what you want from a guy.
It is not to much to ask for a man to open the door for you or not talk on the phone (constantly), but one call from someone should be ok. Not 20 though.
Flowers I would say are for special occasions, not just for every time a guy takes you out, if you think this is not true, then you should be prepaired tobe single your enitre life.

There is nothing wrong with not being married yet, we are in the same boat...I'm also single and 28 years old. I don't think you are being picky maybe its just that you have not found the right guy yet that you can open up too. Hope you find him and good luck!

no you are not asking 4 2 much if a person love you he will do all those things to keep you. be Friends with the person first tell them what you wont in a guy, like you wont some one to open the door for you. Girl if they dont open da car door for you sit in da car until they do, or whatever you ask.

OK, here is the thing. i was in a relationship for too long, went through being engaged (good guy) and everything, thinking that marriage and (maybe) kids is what I wanted. Now being through that, I realize that it is enough (at least for me), just to be happy. NEVER settle. have fun dating while you can, because once you DO get married... it's gonna be a long time, if ever, that you will experience this part of your life. BE STRONG!! there are (i hope!) still guys that will do chivalrious things still for girls!! :)

i wouldnt think so, but u might be a lil picky and maybe you do have commitment issues. but the things you listed that you dont like in a guy is not picky every guy should have those qualities.
and you also cant judge a book by its cover.

Okay where is it written that one has to be married? I'm 41 married 11yrs and we do not have kids. And that's the way I want it, so everyone on this earth does not have to be married, a parent or involved unless they really want that
