When i install it says "The 2007 Microsoft Office system does not support upgrading from a prerelease version of the 2007 Microsoft Office system. You must first uninstall any prerelease versions."
I downloaded i think BETA 2? I have previously installed the Microsoft Suite 12 but the install was unsuccessful. Now in Beta 2, it say that message. What to do? I even uninstalled the Microsoft Office 2003 for good, but lost it because it still was unsuccessful. Name of File is "OPPLUS-EN.exe". pls helpp..

okay, i think you should use the uninstaller found somewhere in the C:\Windows folder. Then remove from the registry the files related. If you still don't have success, install and download again the 2003 edition here:

if problem occurs, try pasting it to Flashget.

well try checking in a tools program to make sure it is totally uninstalled. If you cant get help from microsoft ( i would try emailing or calling them with the file name if it was purchased. ) If not you might try downloading 2003 off of a p2p prog like limewier and see if that works for you till you can get it fixed.

As I have set up a few friends systems, I found it nessicary to remove certian registry entries to accomplish the setup, after removal of Beta Software. I had to use "Brute Force" on at least two. You can get the BF program from MAjor Geeks website.
