If we are truly a Christian then we should pray for our president. 1 Timothy 2:2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

If this president could just learn to accept PEOPLE rather than numbers this country would have come much farther in the last few years. Any leader that proposes a CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT banning any marriage other than Man and Woman needs to be prayed for. He needs to realize that people have free will and will always make their own choices. Pray that the president will stop making laws restricting human rights!!!!!!

Sure, I'll join you in praying for him. Our church prays for him every Sunday and Wednesday nite too. Try to not be surprised at the reaction you get when you mention our president! Pretty surprising language tho for Christians don't you think? I'm sure the Lord is pleased with this! You keep praying for him and so will I, if anyone needs it, he sure does with all that is going on. Good for you!

Why don't we pray for all the people who died defending this country...and the ones who still are. Praying for that........Person is useless and pointless, we should prey that he trips over the concience he does not have, and passes on!
Then we will have a president that actually cares about the people that died who did not have the protection they needed, and their family's have to buy them instead of the government supplying them to the troops...how many have to die to satisfy bushes pride?
our troops should have everything they need to fight for this country, and Bush doesn't give a care about how many die or how many are hurt......look at him, he would not talk to the mother who camped out for ever trying to speak to him,(Cindy) and ask him a question.....if he was a real man...he would have walked out there and said to her......ask away......
who is praying for that mother?
Her Dead Child?
It is horrible for any Christan or anyone to pray for him......when you should prey for them!
Sorry, But You Asked For Prayers, And Being A Loyal American, God Believing Woman, Who Knows Exactly What Has Happened Over There, NO ONE SHOULD BE PRAYING FOR BUSH....................
NOT WHEN WE HAVE OUR OWN PEOPLE DYING TO DEFEND US..........
also, just to be clear...i have never been someone to go against my county, the president, and speak one bad word against any of them......how can a normal person not be horrified over this?
Anyone With A brain Can See What Is Going On Here, And Unlike Some People I Still Believe That The People Of This Country Are Smart, And strong, and compassionate, loving, true, and worthy of being faught for......they deserve to have supplies and everything they need to keep themselves safe, and we dishonor them by just looking away, so sorry, no i will not pray for that person, i will be praying for the troops and people who actually do things for this country...
sorry if i have offended anyone, this was not my intentions, i am only saying my point of view, and hope it does not offend anyone...thank you.....
I just want to also make very clear that not one of the brave men and women who have made it home that i know, have EVER, EVER said one bad word about the president........NOT ONE of them, what does that tell you???
How wonderful and loyal they are,
To Their Country, And Their President!!!!!!!

seems beyond prayer so does our Mr Blair
Thanks for the answer on fish, I am not sure if the 5 loaves and 2 fishes thing is fact. any way I have strong feelings Jesus was a Faithist like John the Baptist One of his names was Rabbi not used by the church, but indeed that is what he was and lived in community with his wife Mary and 5 or 6 children

I pray for him each of the time. That he makes the stunning judgements in accordance to the U.S. shape and not in accordance to Marx! I pray that he turns far off from Socialism and back to what this u . s . a . became in line with. That being Capitalism. the thought adult adult males are sin finished and would desire to repent for his or her sins and it is not a collective concern. each individual would desire to make the a call for them self. the innovations and plans that this president has positioned forth and needs for this u . s . a . are no longer those got here across interior the U.S. shape so while he does this I pray that he turns far off from them and repents! Minister for over 25 years and a Christian one.

Yes. I Pray for our President and leaders everyday. I Pray God will lead them, and direct them, and help them to make the right decision. I pray if any of them be lost, that God will save their soul. May God Bless all our leaders.

I pray all the time and almost always get good results from it. God watches out for me and cares about my wants and needs. He takes care of me and listens when I ask for something.
In my opinion, those who suggest otherwise are liars. Since prayer works for me, I am of the opinion that it works for everyone and is easily tested by almost anyone....including those who say otherwise. I find it difficult to believe that their experience is different then mine....hence they are lying.

Are you assuming that only Christians pray or that only Christians like the President? OR is he only the President of Christians and I didn't get that memo?

Yes I have prayed for him plenty of times. I am disappointed in the way he has handled a few topics. I will pray for him tonight since you have brought it to my attention. God bless you sister in Christ. And don't let other answers discourage you.:) (Just shake the dust off your feet) :)
