Noxema face wash works really well... just rub it on while in the shower and let it sit for a minute or so, then rinse off. It will help ease off the pain.

Noxema works really well. It makes it feel cool. Plus if you already have Aloe -put the gel form in the fridge. Helps soothe the burn. Keep skin well moisturzed to prevent pealing. Take a few advil (since it is an anti-inflammatory med) to help with the pain and swelling.

To help with the burning try white vinegar. Just put some in a spray bottle and spray evenly over where the burning is. As for helping you tan quicker, I have no advice at all.

-First you must stop the burn
Use cool wet compresses for first 48 hours. Some report baking soda or vinegar compresses are comforting. Do not use ice.
Cool oatmeal baths (Aveeno, etc.) may be helpful
May use aloe in first 48 hour

-NO lotions or petroleum jelly in the first 48 hours!! These hold in the heat!

-Apply moisturizing lotions after 48 hours

-Aspirin taken as directed on the label may help ease pain

-a cold bath
-Solar-cane (may be solar-kane) works wonders for my burns!!
good luck!

You can soak some tea bags in cold water and then put them on the sunburn. I think there is some sort of tannic acid (??) that helps take the sting out of sunburn.

Any sort of moisturizing agent. Get an all natural body cream....something from Burt's Bees. Moisturize, Moisturize, Moisturize.
