some say their illegal, they have complex names,is it true they say it the best in the world. some say it has more uses other than comsumption. is there a age limit to buy it there, so far I"ve only seen one in single can only for indviagly sale. what are the most historical and popular brands. are they unlike any other taste in liquer.

Yes, definitely available here. Sapporo, Asahi and other beers, dozens of different kinds of sake. Each is quite unique, but all go very well with sushi or other Japanese foods. Or heck, for that matter, Asahi goes great with Mexican tamales or Italian canneloni or Indian sambhar... but I'm in San Francisco, where ethnic fusion is the name of the game in trendy cuisine.

Most imported beers suffer from the trip, but I like Sapporo if I know it hasn't set at the distrinutir for months.

yes. there is everything in USA! we eat sushi and drink sake and we also eat Vietnamese, Italian, Greek and German Ru laden. there is nothing you can not get here...even Russian borscht or smoked Alaska salmon, elk, bison, caribou...you name it. Caviar and brie...we got it all...
