Other than traditional baked potato and green salad...any others welcome!Thanks!

Personally, I like mashed potatoes. But, if this isn't up your alley, then a perhaps a side of pasta, with lets say a spaghetti sauce, or a fancy buttery tasting ranch garlic sauce, just to name a couple. You get the idea. Gotta go now. I made my self hungry. Oh well, there goes my diet. lol

Any form of potatoes works fine. Dinner rolls are good. Green beans, peas or other steamed veggies are a good alternative to green salad. :-)

Jello with fruit salads
mexican corn bread
cowboy beans
Oven baked beans

fried green tomatoes

Sour Cream Soup:

2 cans (10 1/2 oz.) condensed beef bouillon, undiluted
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. caraway seed
1 1/2 c. sour cream
1/3 c. flour
Croutons

1. Add water to bouillon to measure 1 qt.
2. In large saucepan, bring bouillon, salt, and caraway seed to boiling. Reduce heat.
3. Meamwhile, in small bowl, combine sour cream and flour, stirring until smooth.
4. Slowly pour into bouillon, stirring constantly until well blended. Bring just to boiling. Garnish with croutons. Serve at once.

Also, buttered noodles, julienne carrots and cheese bisquits.

A very nice side for these are carrots. Take the carrots and cook them in the same pan with the steak so that they absorb the juices.

Roasted peppers with a balsamic and olive oil dressing. Brocolli and garlic mashed potato. YUM! Had that last night!
