My on and off boyfriend of 3 years and I don't seem to able to make it work no matter what we do.We're so in-love but when we're together all we do is fight, insult each other and yell and it's killing me because when he's with someone else all I want to do is be with him and he claims to feel the same. We're always there for each other when it comes down to it no questions asked but how can we make this work? How can two people so in-love and so deeply connected have such trouble making it work? It's like I don't want him in my life but at the same time the thought of being without him kills me.We've both done a lot we're no proud of the last few year but we have a mutual understanding where we forgive and try to forget. At the end of the day all I want to do is hear his voice on the line or lie next to him and I just need so advice or how to make this relationship work. Please help.

Every time me or him break up with someone new we end up together again. It's like fate wants us together but we keep screwing up.The only thing I've ever been sure about in my life is that we belong together.

Have a sit down put all the cards on the table. Key word here is honesty can't have anything without it. Good luck. Hope it works out for ya. Sorry had to rush out the other night late for work, but as i was saying you have to figure out what causes all this hostility. You said both of you have done things you weren't proud of. So that tells me there are some unresolved issues here. That could bee the root of the whole problem. Advoiding a situation because it's uncomfortable doesn't make it go away. Hope this helps

Sounds like obsession rather than love. Love lifts up. Obsession confines.

sometimes you love someone that much that you have to let them go...
be mates give it time, but it sounds to me its not going to work... i went through this myself and when i found the strength to leave, it was the best thing i had done... to this day we are still mates and we laugh about the past... somethings you think are meant to be, but in actual fact they are just trying to teach you a lesson.

Your first problem is you think you are in love.

People who are truly in love find a way to come together
