Be sure to check your daily intake of zinc through supplements. Intake of 30 mg or higher for more than three months can induce a deficiency of copper, and low copper levels can result in hair loss
Aromatherapy
The results of one research study suggest that the essential oils of thyme, rosemary, lavender, and cedarwood mixed with an oil and applied on the areas of hair loss may stimulate hair growthHair Oil Recipe
3 drops of essential oil of thyme
3 drops of essential oil of lavender
3 drops of essential oil of rosemary
3 drops of essential oil of cedarwood
1/8 cup of grapeseed oil
1/8 cup of jojoba oil
Mix the ingredients together. Cover your pillow with an old towel. Apply several drops of the mixture to areas of hair loss each night, massaging gently into scalp for 3-5 minutes. Store the oil tightly covered. Do not take internally or near the eye area.
Ayurveda
Bhringaraj oil or brahmi oil are applied to the scalp regularly to stimulate hair growth. The Ayurvedic herbs ashwagandha and amla are also reported to stimulate hair growth.
Traditional Chinese Medicine
In traditional Chinese medicine, hair loss is linked to kidney deficiency syndrome. Other symptoms of kidney deficiency are weakness and fatigue and low back weakness. Kidney energy is believed to naturally decline with age, but people with early or accelerated hair loss may have particularly weak kidney energy. Kidney tonics are usually recommended.

Wash it every two days. When you wash it everyday, you lose the nutrients from the shampoo and conditioner. And use a good quality shampoo and conditioner. When you have a shower, tuck it neatly under the shower cap instead of just shoving it in. Get it trimmed at least 2cm every 6 months. When you go out into the sun, spray with sunprotection for hair. All this helps it not only to grow, but also to stay very healthy. Don't forget to brush it every day, so that it isn't tangled.

No lie...have a baby. My hair grows like nobody's business since I gave birth. My never grew this fast before! Also, I hear that beer drinkers have long healthy hair. What also works is massaging your scalp with a mixture of mayonnaise and eggs. Gross, I know, but it works! Just be sure to wash out the tub good afterwards!

Trade your normal cotton pillowcases for satin. On normal pillowcases, your hair gets snagged on the tiny nubs in the fibres. This causes knots and bed-head and tangles which weaken your hair and make it prone to breaking, split ends, etc. On satin your hair slips around all night, never getting knotty or tangled. Your hair does not get as damaged and you get to keep a lot more of what you grow!

it depends what type of hair you have. if its not that great than this is how you make it great. be sure to brush it every morning and every night and get 1/2 inch trimmed off every 2-3 months. the brushing keeps the natural oil pumping and the trimming takes off split ends for maximum growth.

I do not trim or cut it often--that is just a myth about keeping the ends trimmed to make it grow. I do like a nice trim, but I do not fret about it --the time frame. So, I let it grow and it does.

Your hair is going to grow anyway, but prenatal pills will speed up the growth process.
