Yes! LOL.
The night before was my brothers wedding and needless to say, I was still drunk by 6 am, having had my last drink of vodka shooters at 5 am. Went in to report for work, was told I looked like SH!T and was told to go the doctors if I felt poorly! LOL
Never did that again! No other brothers, you see? LOL

I have a certain tradition for myself and that is to have 3 shots during the day on my last day of work somewhere. One before lunch....one durning and then one after. Dont know where it started but its just good fun. Not enough to get drunk at all but makes the day go by fast :)

Never during my school, university, or working careers! It should never be done. If I were an employer and an employee came to work drunk I would send them home with this warning...Next time you are fired on the spot.

I have seen this done on a couple of occasions. I am retired now so it doesn't effect me anymore.

Absolutely.
I work in an awesome upscale restaurant near Napa in California, and every Saturday, before the night shift, we do tastings of the wines on our list. We make it a point to get drunk weekly. Our boss heads the meetings and teaches us about the wines. It's educational and puts us all in great moods for our upcoming busy shift!

I worked at a JC Penny's in my early 20's. I used to go out to the bars after my shift ended, usually in my work clothes. Often I would pass out on someone's couch, and then show up at the store the following morning before it was open, with the same clothes on as the day before. I'd go to the Ultima II make-up counter and re-do my make-up with samples before the store opened. I can't believe I used to drink that much...

No. I usually don't get drunk until I've been at work for a few hours.

I've gone to pt with a slight buzz before. It was left over from the night before. It helped make the slow run we had to do a challenge, and really made the under 28min. fourmile feel like an accomplishment.

Sad to say, but once I went to lunch with a co-worker, and we went a little heavy on the frozen margaritas. We went back to work giddy. It helped because we both hated the job. LOL.
