Moses and Superman were both abandonded by their original parents. I guess the Cabbage Patch Kids are as well.

the bat is a stick made of wood, the ball is glued to the ground and young children learn and hear about Moses, superman and the cabbage patch kids.

i dont know what it is but it isnt the batter/hit bc they do get hit by stray balls or a p*ssed off pitcher. could be a batting glove.
