Just curious since so many of you believe tomorrow starts "the end of days."
My husband is Christian.
I am agnostic.
Do you believe your God will seperate us, even though we are in a loving and commited relationship? My husband has told me that it would not be Heaven without me, but Hell.

Just curious on your thoughts...

The Scriptures were written for Christians. Jesus teaches that Christians are to marry Christians, this way we live in harmony, having the same beliefs and morals. The Scriptures also teach that if by chance we do marry a unsaved person, that we are to pray for them and try to live in peace with them. Your husband must have really been taken with you to marry you, altho you aren't a believer like he is, you must be special in many ways.
You will stand alone before the Lord, on judgment day, and so will your husband. Everyone is responsible for their own decision as to what they believe about God. Fact is, the Scriptures describe heaven as such a wonderful fantastic place, that we will be in the presence of the Lord all the time, no sadness there at all, so your husband will be full of joy there with or without you, bummer huh! This is one of the heartbreaks when a Christian marries a person who dosen't believe the way he does, this is probably really difficult for your husband.
I hope this has helped some.....

Sorry to burst you bubble but if you husband feels that way about you he needs to go back and check his salvation, some where he just didn't get it. If he was a true Christian he would know from studying God's Word that in Heaven there will be no memory of those who are left behind and in hell you will by able to look into heaven and see your loved ones who really are saved, I believe this will be your greatest hell apart from the ever burning flames

well, the Bible does say you can't get to heaven unless you believe in Jesus Christ. so yes i think you would be slip up no matter how much of a loving relationship you have. God is fair and just, he doesn't make exceptions to His rules. your husband should have known this before he got married with you. I am sure you are a happy couple. as for him being in heaven without you feeling like hell. it is hard to comment. God might wipe his memory of you so he feels no pain. but i really don't know. besides you haven't died yet. in time you may believe in Jesus. that might be a gift God gives to your husband so he doesn't have to live in heaven without you...

Wendy's got it right. It's all about a PERSONAL relationship with Jesus Christ.

Matthew 24:40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Matthew 24:41 Two [women shall be] grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Tomorrow (6/6/06) has nothing to do with anything.

On June 6 the U.S. Senate will vote on the Marriage Protection Amendment (MPA) which defines marriage as being only between one man and one woman. Because of a power grab by activist judges like the one in Georgia, the MPA is the only way that the sacred institution of marriage will remain between one man and one woman.

Absolutely!!! It was once some thing extra formal, but I used to speak to Him something the purpose and due to the fact I saved ahead to my possess ambition and wishes, while He gave me avertisements I stored none and did my approach going into increasingly trubles! Into an finish, inside a deep depresion, He stored my lifestyles (!!!) the very moment I left away of all my deep wishes... There, empty middle, I was once full of God's Light and Peace and Love - a entire New LIFE, a brand new frame, a New Vision over the beyond and the longer term :) :) :) Yes, He is my Saviour!!!

Jesus does say that in the Kingdom of Heaven, those who had wives will live as if they had none. And this 6/6/06 stuff is nonsense, as is the rapture.

sadly, you will not be in heaven with him. will it be heaven to him? yes.. with or without you. the Bible says that HE will wipe away all tears from our eyes and there will be no more pain. I believe that we will not have a memory of those who did not make it to join us in heaven. the bible talks about a rich man dying and seeing into heaven and seeing a beggar (in heaven, but the beggar couldn't see the rich man in hell) and he pleas with God to send someone to warn his brother's so they won't end up in hell. but God refuses, because he gave the rich man and his brother's the prophets (he gave us the Bible), and they didn't listen to them, they wouldn't listen to anyone. God doesn't waste his time on those who aren't willing to listen.
I don't understand those who say that they don't believe in heaven or hell, God or Satan. you haveSO MUCH to lose if you are wrong, and nothing to lose if you are right.
I say this in love, please re-consider your standing in Christ.like I said, you have EVERYTHING to lose if you are wrong about God, but what do you have to lose if you are right?
